Never turned up to do the job in the first place and then gave another chance and tried asking for more money than initially agreed, did an absolute abysmal job. Rubbish left everywhere, graffiti on the walls, poor plastering finish, plaster on painted walls, forgot to plaster the overhead of a wall and left a diabolical finish. Had a bad feeling and should have trusted my gut than have hired him.

A Total disappointment Ricky agreed to install a porch and roofing. He advised us to install new pvc doors agreeing to fit the roof after. This started mid November with a promise to be completed before Christmas. On his instruction we paid other workers to complete the preparation works and then the morning of the Job he sent a text message advising that he will no longer be able to attend the job. Thankfully we were able to find a local reputable roofer -plasterer-tiler who completed the work to a very high standard I feel very let down as I had put total trust in his promise to complete the work. Unfortunately based on this I cannot confidently recommend Ricky to a friend family, or anyone else.

Jim is such a professional and experienced person. He listened to what we need in detail, offered his expertise so that we can decide better. His team did an amazing job decorating our property. They were always on time, very well planned and finished the job much earlier than we’ve expected. They were very friendly, nice and kind and they made us feel like they are members of our family. They took good care of our property and they did an amazing job. They are very trustworthy, honest and reliable tradesman. Florin extended and completely refurbished our 4-bedroom semi-detached house. This included extensive steelwork, underfloor heating, complete re-plumbing and rewiring, excavation, and an entirely new slate roof as well as varying extensions up to three floors high. I cannot say enough good things about his workmanship, professionalism and reliability. His workmanship makes a perfectionist like myself happy. He is also completely professional: even with our difficult neighbours he was always courteous and understanding, and even helped them sort out issues at a moment’s notice that had nothing to do with his building work on our property. And he is also thoroughly reliable. I cannot think of any instance where he committed to something and did not deliver — he even managed to finish all the work on our house ahead of schedule and on budget. We have been so happy with his work that we contracted him to build us a summer house as well, from scratch, and to complete revamping our front garden including elements of hard landscaping. Again he delivered flawlessly and we are very happy with the result. We also continually receive positive comments from people passing by and just seeing the front garden. We have used several other builders in the past on other properties, including far more expensive ones, and none compare to his level of competence, attention to detail in his workmanship, his complete professionalism and thorough reliability. Now that we have found Florin, we will never look for another builder again. I just hope once others experience what he delivers for themselves he will still have some availability for us in the future!

The job was split into separate parts for ease and Michael/MME took on the loft conversion piece. The conversion itself wasn't so straightforward as he was working with a previously created loft space with no building control sign off. Michael was great at every stage though, and work progressed very quickly. Attention to detail was fantastic - Michael identified ways to maximise space when quoting, and minor changes requested by me throughout the job were dealt with very efficiently. He even helped out here and there with some unrelated jobs going on in other areas of the property. I had a very specific design for the en-suite and Michael was very keen to make sure it was all done correctly. The property now has a fantastic loft space, additional bathroom, and most importantly is building control legal! I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael/MME to anyone else thinking of a loft conversion. It's very difficult picking a building company, but I felt I could trust Michael with the job from initial quote to final payment.

I agreed a price and schedule of works with Muli (Flamur Marku). The day before, he changes the start time from 9am to noon. On the day, I call him at noon, to ask if he is still attending. To which he replies, "I was just about to call you, I'll be there in an hour". I say to him that it is not a good start to our business relationship. That he should at least have informed me that he would not be attending. He said, just forget it then, and put the phone down. I want to warn other customers of his potential short comings, and to have other potential builders on hand.
