On the whole I’m really pleased with the overall finish, however there are a few things I feel the company could benefit from in the future. Communication was a not a strong point: I did not know when the tradesmen would be there, which was not a issue as such except getting home to dirty footprints everywhere and when I came downstairs one Sunday not realising someone was in my house. I realise this was difficult for them as they were dealing with covid implications so perhaps it would be different in other circumstances. The finish was good except the plastering, which wasn’t smooth in some areas and once painted there were many gaps around the velux windows that needed filling, which I had to do. Also, I asked the company to lay flooring for me and gaps were left near the French doors, which I was asked if I could just fill myself or get my boyfriend to do (not the response I wanted). However, I do love the build, it’s fabulous and I am very pleased with the result, just wish these little niggles could have been ironed out. I would still recommend them as it really is my favourite room in my house. The men who work for the company were friendly and hard-working and I would trust them to be alone in the property, which was important as I was at work most of the time. Overall, I love it!

Very happy with the Living Room, Dining room refurbishment experience. Anything that further suggested during the job, Jim was always happy to give his feedback or suggestions to anything and nothing was too much of problem. Jim was always friendly very easy to talk to and always on time and put the hours in to get the job and the extra bits and pieces done. I would definitely recommend Jim and have further work carried out which I have already got him in line to do. Over the last couple of years this job has been a stressful weight on my mind and thankfully Jim saw the job I posted, quoted, did an excellent job and job was done on time and to the quote and I'm extremely happy with the job and the changes.

Jay (Paint Proud) offers an excellent service. Engaged to paint back wall of an open lounge, the staircase and 1 bedroom, Jay came within an hour to view and quote for the job and could do the work much quicker than we expected. Assisted by his dad, they were really friendly, covered everything and tidied away so well afterwards. A really professional job at a very fair price. Will definitely use again, especially as Jay can help with a large range of DIY projects. Highly recommend!

I'm Dale and my colleagues are Chris and Stephen we have been in the building trade for 15 years, cpcs trained and have experience in earthworks, groundwork all aspects, aswell as landscaping and Chris is our joiner/carpenter .we have been friends since school our plan is to starting working in a domestic capacity bringing a high level of professionalism, punctuality and workmenship. We wouldn't leave a job in a state that we wouldn't want for ourselves.

recently had my fence replaced and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial consultation through to the final installation, the team was professional, punctual, and clearly took pride in their work. They took the time to explain my options, offered helpful recommendations, and kept everything transparent in terms of pricing and timeline. The installation itself was completed efficiently, and the quality of the workmanship really stands out — the fence looks fantastic and feels solid and built to last. The job was delayed due to circumstances beyond the builder's control, but I was kept informed at every stage and the overall job was not affected. All the work was carried out smoothly and efficiently, and within the time estimate. The site cleaned and left ready to use, and instructions for care and maintenance were provided on request. I am very pleased with the result and will be keeping contact details for a future project. Well done Liam & Brian.

Jake’s a friendly and polite man. Very amenable. His work ethic is exceptional, always on time and just gets on with the job. The bricklaying was excellent quality. I didn't want to leave this but unfortunately Luke was a no show, he confirmed he booked us in for a job and then the week before, we tried contacting him via phone and texts and he was non responsive. Then on the day did not turn up without any notice. Still not sure what happened but we were really looking forward to completing the job; had we known, we could have tried to book someone else.
