We initially hired Michael to convert a bathroom into an office. After meeting him and discussing our longer-term plans, we quickly felt confident moving forward with him on much wider renovation works across the property. Michael worked closely with us throughout the entire process—from early ideas and structural planning through to execution. He consistently provided insightful, practical advice that added real value. His ability to anticipate issues early not only prevented problems but also helped us save money by refining the plans to maximise our goals and avoid unnecessary costs. Michael’s broad knowledge and skill set were hugely beneficial on a project of this size and within a tight budget. He made the process far less stressful and, at times, genuinely enjoyable. He kept me informed and involved at every stage, which gave me a great deal of confidence in both the quality of the work and the decisions being made throughout. Michael helped us renovate every corner of our four-bedroom maisonette in West London—from bathrooms and structural opening-up works to a full kitchen renovation, hard landscaping, flooring, and carpentry. The list goes on. His wide skill set and depth of knowledge were truly impressive and exactly what we needed, particularly as we chose to stay closely involved in the renovation rather than hiring a larger construction and project management company. We genuinely don’t feel we could have made a better choice. It’s not always easy to find a builder who is reliable, honest, and trustworthy, so I feel very fortunate to have worked with Michael. I hired Vasile and his team to initially refit my bathroom but after meeting him decided to hire him to complete a number of projects including installing a built in bookcase into a wall, decorating 2 bedrooms, hallway and removing built in wardrobes. I can not recommend Vasile and his team enough! Vasile is trustworthy, honest and worked within my budget. He offers incredible design advice and the workmanship is of such a high quality. They were always clean, punchual and completed the jobs on time and under budget! This is the first time I have used Mybuilder and did so because I got tired of getting messed around by contractors. I decided to use Vasile after I read the reviews here and I am really happy with the work. Vasile will be refitting my downstairs WC and kitchen later this year. I would highly recommend his services and professionalism.

My expectations were greatly met. The communication in terms of timings, materials were outsourced by them, considering the job required several trades to be completed there was definitely a level of professionalism that was was displayed on the job. Additional works were accepted and completed without any quam so I'm definitely happy and would recommend them highly.

The Builders arrived on time and finished all the work in two days the work was completed to a perfect standard he even cleaned up some of the mess that previous Builders had left behind, their work. Ricky Reid I was looking for a company who could help me with a light refurbishment (kitchen, bathroom and full decoration) of a one bedroom flat in south west London to be ready for rental within 15 days. I posted my ad request on mybuilder.com and a few companies contacted me. Ricky Reid, was the third one I met and eventually the one I chose. Why? R. was straight forward, no gimmicks and did his best to understand what my needs were from day one. Especially when my vision at the start wasn’t that clear. Him and his team delivered within the time frame agreed as well as within the quote given plus a few extras that hadn’t been considered at the start of the project. He was always available for questions or clarifications needed over the phone at any time! A rare quality in itself in the building world. If there was anything that could be improved, this would be clarifying certain jobs that were on the quote (and I mean specifically what they exactly covered) from the start to avoid stingy or unexpected surprises cost wise. However this isn’t Ricky’s fault and I take my full responsibility as I should have done my homework before hand. Overall satisfied with the result and I would certainly contact Ricky and his team for my next future projects and so should you reading this review. Thank you Ricky and all the best in your company venture.

We used Cubitt Wren for a full interior renovation earlier this year while we were away over the Easter period, and I honestly could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. They took on the lot, a brand new kitchen, a bathroom en suite, and a full repaint throughout the house. What really stood out to me was how smoothly the whole thing ran from start to finish. Whenever my input was needed on design choices or finishes, I heard back quickly by email and everything was explained clearly. I never felt kept in the dark, which as someone who wasn’t on site made a real difference. Coming home to the finished result was just lovely. The whole place felt fresh and beautifully done, and it was a joy to walk back into. I would highly recommend Cubitt Wren to anyone looking for quality renovation work. You also get a dedicated project manager who keeps you updated throughout, which is such a reassurance when works of this scale are going on. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Very pleased with our choice. We initially got four quotes from different builders, most of them were terrible at communicating apart from Alfred. He was very easy to work with, responsive and very careful with our brand new house. His team was hard working, tidy and fast. They completely renovated our garden from removal of old decking and gravel to setting up new fences, levelling and turfing the ground. They also removed our old kitchen, partition wall and carpet, as well as did jobs like plastering, building a wall and set up lights and shelves. We’ll surely have him back soon to work on other jobs.

He's managed to do the work within tight time constraints, has always been available for questions and comments in a friendly manner, he's even helped me with a couple of other minor problems in the flat even though he didn't have to. The service I received from Hysen Zhuku and his team was excellent. I cannot fault them in anything. The quote I received was clear and easy to understand, breaking everthing down so that you know exactly what you're paying for. The work was completed to a very high standard and thought and consideration went into how the job progressed. Hysen and his team were polite and easy to talk to and left the property clean and tidy at the end of each day. I received regular updates and photos of the work and Hysen was happy to show me the materials that he was using and answer any questions. I can honestly say Zhuku Construction are the best builders I have ever worked with. They are true professionals at what they do and take pride in their work. I will definately be using their services again and recommend that you do to. You won't regret it.
