Conversions - General- 15 Oct 2018
Visited to check job and provide estimate. Advised on cost, noting that until the original job was exposed for inspection, advised that therefore not possible to provide a firm price. Fixed date for 'next job in line' 8 weeks. No problem. Contacted me a week before to confirm. Turned up on time. Exposed RSJ, discovered that original builder had bodged the job badly. Was surprised that it has been passed by Building Control. Asked for Building Control advice and continued with preparatory work. Building Control inspected, approved the proposed solution. Adjusted timing and cost of job - now 5+ days. Job done perfectly, very efficient and without fuss. Had all the right kit. Cleaned up mess every day. Plaster finishing work perfect, after a thorough and safe job in resetting the RSJ. A skilled job. Site fully cleared. A very professional job. Will use him for a job needing to be done in the near future. Highly recommended.

We had an extension built onto our kitchen with lantern in the roof and bi-folds. Richard's workmanship was of high standard, everything done to our needs. If we wasn't happy with something,he would sort it out! He is very professional in his work and if something wasn't to his standard he would redo it until it was. As a builder he was very reliable,you hear about so many cowboys out there, but we couldn't fault his workmanship at all. Most of the communication was done through his wife who is in the office, she was very good at keeping us updated on things, any problems you only had to ring her and she would sort it out or chase it up!!! I can highly recommend Reedman builders!!
