I hired Scott to do a property renovation. I was given a time scale of 4 weeks. Scott was hardly ever there. He turned up when he felt like it but always left early. I was told that people were doing work over the weekends, but when I went to the property no-one was there. He would tell me certain jobs were being done but then never did them. I told Scott every week that the job needed to be completed by I was constantly ignored. Expensive kitchen materials were left in an unsecured garage. An expensive kitchen was supposed to be fitted by Scott and it is still not completed. A worktop has been chipped. No respect was given to the kitchen which is white. A massive large amount of mess has been left outside the back of the property. He has not kept to his estimate.When I asked for cost breakdowns I was ignored. I was informed that he was starting a big project at the beginning of March and was assured that the job would be completed.The project is far from finished as promised. I was sent a bill Monday evening. I questioned the cost and there were things that needed to be finished off before the bill was paid. Tuesday morning I had a message that he was not happy that the bill had not been paid and that they had in goodwill carried on work at the property. I went to the property to discuss my concerns and surprise surprise he was not there and had cleared away most of his things. When I rung him up to ask where he was, he got irate.
