Ben and His dad Mr Topping did our laminate, skirting and doors + door frames. They were super efficient and helpful. Answered all our questions beforehand. They made the whole process super easy by buying the materials for us as it was difficult for us to get them. They are very very punctual and actually finished the work earlier than what they had initially told us. They are probably the most honest tradespeople I have worked with. They were very clear about the price and provided all receipts. I would highly recommend them for their great work, efficiency and punctuality. I will definitely be contacting them again if I need any work doing. Highly recommend!

Rob did a great job measuring and installing a new set of stairs as well as new skirting and architraves. Rob was always on time and always tidied up at the end of the day. Rob provided great advice not just in what was achievable in a technical sense but also what would look good. This was particularly apparent when completing the under stairs cupboard, where Rob suggested making the door flush with the wall.

We’re absolutely delighted with our new built-in wardrobe and couldn’t recommend Vasili highly enough. From start to finish, he was patient, professional, and incredibly hardworking. He really took the time to understand what we wanted, offered helpful advice throughout, and never rushed any part of the job. What stood out most was how honest and considerate he was with costs. Rather than encouraging unnecessary extras, he was genuinely keen to help us save money where possible while still achieving a fantastic finish. It’s rare to find someone so skilled who also cares about giving customers real value. The workmanship is excellent, the attention to detail is outstanding, and the finished wardrobe looks amazing. We’re so pleased with the result and would happily use him again for future work.

I hired Marin to do a conversion to open up my downstairs toilet into a larger shower room / utility space including installing a stud wall, a knock through, install bathroom, tiling, etc. Marin did the work to a very high standard throughout including plumbing and electrical, at a competitive price. He communicated throughout and gave us some good ideas. I would not hesitate to hire Marin again, in fact I am hoping to have him back in the near future for a couple of other projects.

I wouldn’t trust these cowboys. I had them do chimney breast removal and a new kitchen with installation of a window & patio door. Chimney breast removal- had zero consideration for the house. Carpets weren’t covered up, furniture damaged. I have stains that can’t be removed. Scratches in bathroom sink. Had to constantly clean up using my own industrial vacuum, they even left bricks on top of the wardrobe. Ruined my garden. The kitchen was a nightmare from start to finish. The staff were rude. They didn’t even rip the floor up correctly (cutting corners) & damaged the extractor fan that I was then unable to return. Charged me a stupid amount to point the internal wall which looked like a child had done it, I had to get this fixed myself. Gave the wrong window measurements and installed it without consultation. It was too low and I had to get a new window ordered and fitted, as well as the opening bricked to make it smaller. Ended up kicking them off the job. They cost me a lot!!

Graham and his team did a fantastic job on our single story extension including a kitchen and bathroom. The team are friendly and skilled ensuring we were not without a kitchen for more than 2 weeks. We have a young family and work from home and Grahams team ensured we were able to continue working with minimal disruption. Graham provided great guidance on utilising our space effectively and coordinating all the various contractors on the job to completion. Graham’s team were so great that we extended the job to decking and landscaping which was a great price and high standard of work. Graham was also the only builder who provided a written itemised quote and was always on hand to meet periodically to ensure we were on track for the budget. We have an old house and every hurdle we faced Graham was on hand to provide options and guidance. Even after the job has finished he provided great aftercare. We can’t praise the work enough and would highly recommend Graham and his team.

Alex and his team have done an incredible job with a keen attention to detail and have delivered a high quality finish. We have had a single storey extension, new utility and kitchen done, with some challenging structural work. Alex networked well with our architect and sourced a very professional engineer who tweeked our plans. He coordinated a team of builders who are professional, timely and hardworking. No gimmicks, or builders jargon about what stuff cost , just upfront honesty. The team was also acutely aware of the disruptive impact of the build on neighbours and ourselves and mitigated against that through resourcefulness. Alex is a problem solver which is what you want if you are busy with no time to micromanage. The big plus is that everying is done inhouse from structural work to electrics and plumbing. I cant speak more highly of reliable builders, we had to wait a few months for their availability but it was well worth it! Thanks

Vincent was very easy to work with, we first went through the problem which was a water ingress in a basement and damp problem. He quickly gave me an estimate of the solution, which was very reasonable. Time to completion as well was very quick, and there was minimal disruption. Communication was very clear. Vincent also had great connections with other problems I had. I would thoroughly recommend Vincent and Absolute Building and Maintainance.
