Fencing- 16 Jun 2020
After hiring Petru, it was very clear from the offset of the project that he was a very patient individual with high attention to detail and a good listener. As a individual who pays great attention to detail myself, it was very important to me that I received this same level of service from the person hired to work for me, I was not disappointed with Petru. He listened to all I had to say, answered all questions before and during the project and was not satisfied until I was more than 100% happy with the job that was done. After conversations with Petru it was a much better idea to replace the posts instead of correcting their vertical line as they were not straight along the entirety of the row of posts. He was so meticulous with the work that he also impressed my neighbors, so much so that 2 of them hired him for other works within their homes. This was also the same for me. I rehired Petru to build and complete a patio in the garden with a soak-away. Once again I was very impressed with his attention to detail and charisma whilst completing this project for us. He made sure at every step we were happy with his work and the way the Patio was being shaped and constructed. We only have good things to say about Petru as he went above and beyond my expectations. He worked rain or shine and always had a smile. I'm happy to say that he is my builder going forward for other jobs in the future and I am happy to personally recommend him to anyone else should they require it.

G.A.S GENERAL BUILDING SERVICES Ltd
Rating: 5 out of 5
Builder in Luton
ONE COMPANY. ONE PROCESS. ONE POINT OF RESPONSIBILITY. Hi, I'm George Sora, Certified Passive House Designer and founder of RetrofitIQ powered by G.A.S General Building Services Ltd. My approach is different from traditional builders because every recommendation and every upgrade is based on proven Passive House Principles and building physics, not guesswork. Whether the problem is condensation, mould, damp, heat loss, air leakage, poor ventilation, uncomfortable rooms or excessive noise, I follow a structured process designed to identify and solve the root cause: INVESTIGATE → DIAGNOSE → DESIGN → REMEDIATE → VERIFY Using professional equipment including thermal imaging cameras, moisture meters, blower door airtightness testing, smoke tracing and ventilation assessments, I can identify hidden defects that are often missed during standard inspections. As a Certified Passive House Designer, I apply the five key Passive House Principles wherever appropriate: • Airtightness • High Performance Insulation • Thermal Bridge Reduction • High Performance Windows & Doors • Controlled Ventilation This allows me to deliver solutions that are not only visually finished to a high standard, but also healthier, more comfortable, more energy efficient and built to perform long term. Services include: • Thermal Imaging Surveys • Blower Door Airtightness Testing • Damp, Moisture & Condensation Investigations • Ventilation & Indoor Air Quality Assessments • Soundproofing & Acoustic Improvements • Internal Wall Insulation • Loft, Floor & Roof Insulation Upgrades • Air Leakage Reduction • Retrofit & Energy Efficiency Improvements • Refurbishment & Building Works From diagnosis through to completion, clients deal with one company and one accountable team. No guesswork. No unnecessary treatments. Measured. Diagnosed. Designed. Remediated. Verified.

Handyman- 1 Feb 2026
The job was completed to am excellent standard. It exceeded my expectations. The property is tenanted and the process was smooth as he got on touch and arranged access with the tenant independently, working around the availability. It was trickier that expected so the price went up a bit from the original quote but it requires two days of work instead of one. He attended the property twice even before doing the work to understand the scope of work (didn't quote blindly over the phone). The job carried out is a full insulation of a built-in cupboard which before creates damp and mould, tenant is very happy with the solution. Comes with a 1year warranty. Extremely polite, reliable and clean.

Peter was the on-site foreman on our complete house renovation, which took just over a year. This included an additional ensuite pod bedroom in the roof and a side-return and extension to the kitchen. Peter was totally reliable throughout the project and thoroughly professional. Throughout this time we were living in the house with the children. He was always on time, managed the on-site team well and communicated clearly with us. His workmanship is high quality and he was also a stickler for checking the work of others and getting it updated if it wasn’t up to scratch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter.

Carpentry- 18 May 2026
Turned up to fit 2 internal doors... apparently damaged both..but rather than communicate this...he simply got in his car and drove off never to be seen again! Left all the debris outside the house...tried to call him several times but he made himself unavailable...only later on he sent a msg through my builder to say "I fucked up your doors.. really sorry"...his whole attitude was cold and short...his approach to what happened was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional..who simply drives of a job?..it left myself and my 84 year old mother very upset and distraught...we were frantically trying to figure out what had happened and frantically trying to contact him...what happened was totally unacceptable and despite the refund for the doors no amount of refund can make up for the tears worry and confusion that he caused myself and my Mum that day. We did not deserve any of it. His actions turned what should have been a straightforward job into an extremely upsetting experience.

Roofing (Flat)- 2 Aug 2023
Stay clear of this person as he is not experienced builder and do not fulfill his commitments after taking money. Don't hire this tradesman unless you want someone not to turn up on agreed date and time or you want to chase him again and again without him picking up your phone calls or answering them.. My garden shed was leaking from the side. Amarjeet recommended to put new flashing on the garden shed roof to fix it. However, after putting flashing, the garden shed continued to leak from the same area he had put the flashing. He said this time the cause of leak were the joints which he failed to look into earlier. So, he fixed that. After second fix, the shed again leaked, this time directly under the flashing he had put. When I asked him to fix it, he refused saying that the issue is with the joints and not the flashing. I told him that I had hired him to fix the water leak and not the flashing or joints. I even said that I will pay him if the issue is different. After ringing him several times and then agreeing a date and time with him, he didn't turn up. He is not a professional or experienced builder. Having now spoken to another builder, they suggested that the issue is that the water is somehow going under the flashing he had put. There is a bigger problem of the water standing on the roof which needs to be fixed first and which this builder failed to notice. Unfortunately, I will have to pay another builder to complete his work!
