We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Very positive experience. Elvis and his colleague were punctual, polite and efficient, even taking a good look at the product they were installing before putting it up to prevent a known issue reoccurring. They also took the time to fix something else small while they were here. Would recommend.

This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

Polite and thorough. Limewashed kitchen/living area. However no caulking, no prepping of paintwork, left the job unfinished - although he said it was finished. Had to get another painter to go over the work that he left.

We have never used MyBuilder.com before and were nervous about the experience we might have. We should never have worried about a thing! From the moment Krystian got in touch he was polite and knowledgeable without being pushy. He started within a short time of being given the job and the quality of his work was visible right from the start. Krystian was also very tidy, cleaning up after himself everyday and making sure that doorways were sealed as much as possible to stop dust getting through. Krystian was able to offer creative ideas as well as practical suggestions. His plumber/electrician and other associates all adhere to his high standards. The final job looks amazing, several of our neighbours have seen the work and have got Krystian lined up for work in their own homes. The only sad thing is that we will have to join the back of the queue to get the next part of our home completed.

Quite literally the worst tradesman I have ever worked within 25 years as a property developer! He came and quoted to paint my house (a good price I must say), little did I know that this meant he would spray everything that he can see, not prepare the surfaces by sanding them down or protects things. This included door handles, hinges, radiators, alarms sensors, tiles and my own furniture and cooking utensils. First time I confronted him about this he said that we would clean everything, and we agreed to carry own. However, it became apparent that we was doing the same as previously discussed. have paid hi 66% of what was agreed, I quickly realised that the damaged he has caused was going to cost me far more and I told him to leave. The next day he turned up at my house with his wife demanding the balance which I refused to give him, they were both shouting outside my house, threatening to call the police. I eventually agreed to pay the 50% of what was left, just so that they would leave. However, even once he had confirmed writing his acceptance of this, he walks over to me and threatened me one final time, saying that he will take me to court etc, there is god and he will see to me! I advise to stay away from this person, better to pay a little more and work with professionals who don't agree with one thing and do another. He paints using a spray, which means you can not touch anything up and he quite literally paints everything he sees!!

Dimitry's help has been a god send for me. I have been looking for someone to finish my bathroom which was left half done - it requires tiling, bath panel fitted, wooden skirting to be fitted on the ceiling etc. Dimitry visited my flat on the day that I contacted him to give me a quote. He had a thorough look around the bathroom and gave me a VERY REASONABLE QUOTE. He turned up the next day promptly with a colleague and they worked through the bathroom steadily throughout the day. There were few things that could not be finished due to glue setting etc etc but he gave a very good advice as to how to finish those jobs. He completed tiling the bathroom for us which looks AMAZING. There were areas I thought would be tricky but he completed the job to a very high standard. He also built boxes around the pipes which was done very nicely. Essentially, he's done various different jobs requiring different skills and has been reliable. His lack of feedbacks (only had 2 feedback when I hired him) concerned me a little but please don't let that stop you from hiring him for a job - he is AWESOME. I would 100% use him again! Ali, from true cleaning turned up on time I had asked him to put up five pictures which included too heavy mirrors. ALI had all the right equipment with him. Which I might add was all immaculate He was such a lovely guy I had a great conversation with him made me Feel so comfortable and was very professional in his work he measured everything and got all my pictures & mirrors up in know time. I was over the moon they look great. I would definitely get ALI back in to do more work for us in the future. He was absolutely brilliant well done.👍
