Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

Highly recommended. Parkway Maintenance and Construction did an excellent job on my kitchen refit. Steve provided a thorough and detailed options, plans and quotes. He did exacty what he said he wouldconsulting me throughout as work progressed. The work has been completed to a high standard and he site left spotlessly clean and tidy. The rate for the job was extrememly fair and I feel very lucky to have found Parkway Maintenace through this site.

This was a significant refurbishment project in a large Victorian terraced house. It involved stripping the entire house of carpets, walls smoothing and re-plastering, sanding of floors, painting, door replacement, tiling, re-wiring and installing a new bathroom. We were quite specific about how we wanted things. Tim was accommodating to all of this and the end product is better than we could have imagined. He is an excellent communicator, keeping us updated with progress throughout with accompanying photos and dialogue as needed. He was very flexible around additional work added along the way bringing in specialists in specific trades as required. He has a good team, Jimmy the electrician in particular deserves a mention for rewiring several antique light fittings for little additional cost. Jimmy was honest to the extent that he told us not to bother re-wiring which talked himself out of a job! The coronavirus lock-down occurred within the first few weeks of starting. Although this meant he did run beyond completion date, we were so impressed with how he managed this. He was very respectful with regards to the health of ourselves and his team. When materials were not available due to company closures, he got on with other jobs. The house was kept incredibly tidy throughout the project making it very easy to live there whilst work was ongoing. He is clearly a perfectionist, with a strong eye for detail and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Very pleased with our choice. We initially got four quotes from different builders, most of them were terrible at communicating apart from Alfred. He was very easy to work with, responsive and very careful with our brand new house. His team was hard working, tidy and fast. They completely renovated our garden from removal of old decking and gravel to setting up new fences, levelling and turfing the ground. They also removed our old kitchen, partition wall and carpet, as well as did jobs like plastering, building a wall and set up lights and shelves. We’ll surely have him back soon to work on other jobs.

We're happy to review Natanael’s work on, and management of, our 3-bed home renovation. This included: removing a wall, plastering, painting, kitchen installation, new bathrooms, installing wetroom, replacing piping, wiring, installing wood floors. All to a high standard; we had absolutely no cause for concern. The finish is excellent – plastering, painting, tiling and floors are immaculate. The wetroom is spectacular, with recessed tiled shelves and aesthetically perfect tiling which drains perfectly; Natanael helped us a lot to plan and design this. His experience is evident from good advice he gave and we appreciated his flexibility in accommodating our evolving plans. Natanael made sure that everything was just as we wanted, and regularly discussed progress and decisions. It is notable that Natanael worked to the budget and the timescale planned. He did this by organising and supervising his excellent team and working tirelessly. He is exceptionally hard-working. We hugely appreciated that he respected that we lived in the house at the time and cleared up daily. On a personal level we really valued having someone genuinely reliable, honest and meticulous. We hadn’t used MyBuilder before so it was a big decision to do so for such a big project. For that reason, we want to share that we had an extremely good experience, chose someone who had excellent reviews and more than lived up to it. It would be difficult to overstate how delighted we are with Natanael’s work.

Delighted with Kornii & team’s work. They were professional, punctual, tidy and reliable, and I would definitely use them again. They were also competitive with pricing. Kornii and team renovated the external facade front and back of our house, dealing with rogue piping and cables, cracks etc. Did a really good job of colour matching the paint needed. Also fixed an issue on the roof. Inside they made and put up shelves in a number of places, re-sealed and regrouted a few bathrooms, fixed ceiling water marks and various cracks etc internally.

Alin and his company has done long term work for us for the last 5 years. We are developers and they have done high spec work for us in South Ken and Chelsea, working on high end flats. They have done all sorts of jobs for us - stripping down to bare carcass, electrics, plumbing, fitting, decorating - the whole project, from start to finish. I looked at 5 quotes and was so happy to have chosen Elvis and his highly experienced team. They did an excellent job of building a new 11sq meter garden rear extension. This was a bit complicated project because it’s a listed house. Elvis and his team were hardworking, always responsive and came up with great solutions when necessary. I am very pleased with the high quality end result. I would use them again and can't recommend them enough! Great job done

Conversions - General- 3 Sep 2025
Big refurb of 1650 sq ft flat, plus building 2 additional ensuites. Initial quote seemed reasonable but then once in, costs started to rise exponentially. Some work was done well, like the building component and flooring, but finishing was poor. Painting, particularly of internal doors, was done poorly, without removal of fittings first, so lots of overpainting and insufficient prep and coats. Regrouting and redecoration of front and rear patios was done poorly, with weeds already poking through. There was damage to existing bathtubs and WCs by not protecting surfaces and pouring waste materials down the pan. Everything was an argument with constant demands for more money e.g. front door only painted one side as the other side not included under "paint door". Lots of "snagging" - I only have manual on/off control of heating and hot water as "smart" thermostat won't connect, there are odd water pressures through some fixings...and now there's a leak under one of the WCs...
