On a cold November evening, Tony and his team turned up to provide a quote and within a week this was received. The quoted price came in the middle of the pile, which was a good start and aligned closely to the ballpark figure I'd received from a friend who was also in the trade. We then visited a site they were finishing off, and Tony had the confidence to ask us to speak to the client without him there and they gave us the confidence to proceed. They started in January 2020 and rapidly moved through the works and engaged closely with my architect, Structural engineer and building control and proceeded based on their recommendations strictly. We lived in the property as build progressed and the team ensured that the site was secure every evening and we were safe. As COVID-19 hit and we went into Lockdown, the team continued to come and work (we were separated from them as the house was boarded up) and the only challenge was getting supplies. Tony scoured all over London, picking up items as best as he could and work continued. Once they'd broken through into the old part of the house they continued to progress rapidly and showed utter professionalism. The team lead's attention to detail is impressive, and he gave great recommendations on what would be the right approach when we were laying out features such as window sizing and lighting. The standard of work is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Axel & his team have done a huge amount of work for us through 2022. They started by building the foundations, and then also built the block walls and the structure for the roof. They also constructed an entire extra timber framed shed. After more than four months of working for me constantly I can say that I'm very happy with the quality and speed of Axel's work. He has worked through all the work we have given him, and all the extra issues that came up, with a pragmatic and competent approach. The site today is unrecognisable from when he arrived (he also removed several tonnes of soil for us etc), and I would hire him again without reservation.

Ash went above & beyond what was expected today. I will keep his number for future jobs & I will only ever get him to put my furniture together. I will never attempt to do things myself again. I asked him to put a wardrobe together for me that my daughter had managed to break & he did an excellent job. Not only did he do that job for me he also put my daughters bed back together that I dismantled to make room for him to do the wardrobe. Fantastic service & fantastic customer service. I hired Blend for a light house renovation. It started off really well then towards the end he ghosted me. No reason given. He didn’t answer phone calls or texts. There was no fight or disagreement. There is no decent reason why he shouldn’t communicate with a client. You can simply just say you have another job or you are not interested any longer. You don’t ask a client to buy stuff knowing you are not going to show up. It is an unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour. Because of this it’s cost me time that I can’t get back. But I guess it is what it is. I had to find another builder to complete the job. Some of which was not done properly. For example: my kitchen sink was leaking both inside and out. Had to buy a new toilet as something was broken while he was refitting it and etc. Pros: Blend is a nice and easy person to deal with. He is generally a nice guy. Tiling ✅ Cons: Finishing is not so great. could be a lot better. I also found patches and over paint on doors and others.

AP General Builders completed several jobs for us; including tiling, repairing wall cracks and painting. They were quick to respond and were able to fit us in quickly. They were very professional and we are really happy with the results. We also appreciated the time they took to explain the process and to take into account using products that were child friendly etc. Would definitely use them again and will be recommending to friends.

We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and quality of workmanship from REA Construction. The project was delivered within budget and on time. We lived in the property during the work and we, our neighbours and the site were always treated with the utmost consideration. There were almost no hitches and, when they did occur, they were dealt with immediately and thoroughly. Our project team, led by Kristjan and Besi, were universally hardworking, organised and produced work to an excellent standard. Communication is great, the people are wonderful. Renato was someone I felt I could trust from the moment I met him and he never let us down. He and everyone at REA genuinely care about what they do and that their customers have a happy experience. Excellent work. Terry takes real pride in what he does and goes the extra mile to achieve a great result. He's concerned to get it right and is always happy to discuss. He cleaned up each day (when I was living in the flat) and thoroughly at the end. Personally, he's very easy to get on with. I'd strongly recommend. For me, he did: new sockets and other electrics, new ceiling and insulation, replaced sash windows with double glazed, designed and made sash windows for roof lights, fixed weak floor boarding, changed shower cartridge, plastering, painting and decorating (including outside on floor 5) and found me suppliers for fitted wardrobes and carpets.

My fence had blown down becuase of the rescent storm. They told me the exact materials I needed and which i ordered ready for them and they came and put up my fence and it looks amazing. The amount quoted was what they charged me and im real happy and will certainly be using them for future jobs. I was told it would be done in 2 days but they got it finished in one day and im very satisfied with their work. Bravo

Overall, I’m very pleased with the work Marin has carried out for us and I’m currently in the process of instructing him to do more work. Marin built a high spec cedar shed for us with electrics and plumbing, some brickwork and laid composite decking. Marin came across, honest and reliable, which in itself is rare. He was on site most mornings to make sure his tradesmen were on the right tracks. Like with a lot of these things there were some issues along the way and I was highly impressed by Marin’s ‘no quibble’ approach to rectify any problems. I myself have a high attention to detail and am quite indecisive (nightmare client) and Marin was happy to work with me with changes to the project without incurring extra costs.
