Its a shame having to leave a negative review as he intially started well with our project & completed almost half of it. However half way through the job decided to ask for more money with no reason for increased price. Overall cost us extra to hire someone else for remaining jobs & delayed our project.

We were impressed from the outset by the approach of Rob and Pete. Their modern approach, the use of an ipad at our initial meeting, brought the tired old world of building and builders well into the 21st Century. Despite their obvious youth, their approach to communication with us and their ethos about their work showed a maturity lacking in many established building firms Their portfolio was not extensive but we were impressed by what we did see and we followed up their references too which gleaned glowing reports. This was obviously a business in its infancy but Rob and Pete were the hungriest for our business and therefore worked hard to reassure us they would meet our specifications. We felt such an impressive start deserved to be awarded our business opportunity. We have experienced many building firms and builders over the years and are well versed in the pit falls and potential for disasters between builder and employer. We can therefore state with absolute assurance that with Oak Developments we hit the jackpot. From start to finish the project ran without a hitch. Absences (though few and far between) were always informed and the project ran to schedule and on budget. Liaison with the trades and project management was handled by Oak but they kept us in the link throughout. After 16 weeks our project was signed off to our absolute delight and without hesitation we highly recommend this company to all.

They were here every day for seven weeks, completed on time and within the agreed budget. I wouldn't recommend Marjan. Although he was a friendly guy there were several things I didn't like. 1) He was not punctual - I later found out that he took on another job. 2) He did not workaround my requirements e.g. he would start the self levelling when the kids would come from school. This meant one afternoon my kids had to spend 3 hours in the garden whilst the self levelling dried. 3) He was not adaptable - he seemed reluctant to do extra work I.e. doing the voltage check on the electric mat so you know it's ok before you lay it down with self levelling. It would have taken 2 minutes. 4) It felt as though he rushed the job and in places the finish is not great, simply because he did not wait for the self levelling or glue to dry. 5) The glue has dried over the LVT and he never cleaned this up. Positives: 1) He trimmed the doors and other wooden panels. 2) Initially he did come back to rectify the poor finish. But I'm noticing more areas now, which he has not fixed
