We were impressed from the outset by the approach of Rob and Pete. Their modern approach, the use of an ipad at our initial meeting, brought the tired old world of building and builders well into the 21st Century. Despite their obvious youth, their approach to communication with us and their ethos about their work showed a maturity lacking in many established building firms Their portfolio was not extensive but we were impressed by what we did see and we followed up their references too which gleaned glowing reports. This was obviously a business in its infancy but Rob and Pete were the hungriest for our business and therefore worked hard to reassure us they would meet our specifications. We felt such an impressive start deserved to be awarded our business opportunity. We have experienced many building firms and builders over the years and are well versed in the pit falls and potential for disasters between builder and employer. We can therefore state with absolute assurance that with Oak Developments we hit the jackpot. From start to finish the project ran without a hitch. Absences (though few and far between) were always informed and the project ran to schedule and on budget. Liaison with the trades and project management was handled by Oak but they kept us in the link throughout. I hired Leonard Property Ltd to do some fire safety works to my HMO (as required by the Council), to include extra fire doors, safety panels, fire proofing of meter cupboard etc. They carried out the work swiftly, diligently and to a high standard and at a competitive price. They are a professional team with and good responsive communication verbally, on email, text with a great knowledge of the HMO sector (Richard having written a book on the subject). An eagerness to please and pleasure to deal with. I am already arranging for them to quote on my second property. Highly recommended.

Shaun arrived in the time specified, very polite got straight to work. Dishwasher removed and ready to be taken away in 45 mins. Only minor gripe was Shaun ran out of caps to shut off waste drainage pipe so we improvised with a plastic sheet and rubber band. Held for a while until I drained the sink later and the water weight pressure pushed it off causing a minor leak. I remedied it by poking an old sock snugly in the open end and has held up so far until new machine is installed in 2 days.Overall good job, good price and would happily recommend
