Extensions- 11 Oct 2023
We recently completed an extension at the rear of our property, along with a kitchen renovation and refurbishment of our reception hall. Abdallah and Hesham were instrumental in this project, providing us with a comprehensive work plan. Their labor costs were exceptionally reasonable, and they demonstrated unwavering dedication to the job. Their hard work was evident throughout the project, not only in the construction but also in coordinating plumbing, electrical work, and kitchen fitting through their skilled team. Abdallah co-ordinated well with building regulations, ensuring that our project complied with all the necessary standards. What truly stood out was their flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes and adjustments, especially when dealing with variations in material sizes. This adaptability greatly facilitated the project's progress and success. Thank you Abdallah and Hesham.

Bricklaying- 17 Dec 2024
They initially gave a fair price and a date and timeline that fitted with our needs. Subsequently they over ordered on the bricks so we had over 100+ expensive London bricks left over and they under ordered on sand and cement.(Luckily the shop took them back but we had to deliver them there) The job took far longer than they had said although the poor weather did not help much which could not be helped. The worst was that the wall was finished so that the latch of the gate could not be fitted as the wall was a bit too long! The wall looks good but their customer service and time given for job as well as ordering materials needs some improvements. They are pleasant workers, not rude in speaking

Fully electrify a new rear, 2 storey side, porch extension and shed. Arek was always the first one on site, worked very professionally, interacted well with the other builders and was happy to accommodate minor changes to the project. He suggested improvements to the the lighting layout and configuration were taken aboard. I highly recommend him and I'll also be using him to change my house consumer unit in the coming weeks.

Tiling- 1 Sep 2020
**HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED** I have not seen such an unprofessional service provider in my entire life. His guys lack the basic skills of tiling and created a mess of my new home. Issues: 1. They spill water in my bedroom with carpet and in lobby with wooden flooring which got damage 2. Whole house was filled with tile dust, 3. the tiles were not cleaned 4. tiles waste a separate issue 5. my balcony looked like a garbage room 6. cement marks on walls, ceiling and walls needs a paint work 7. to my utter disgust they left tiles pieces in my toilet. 8. Also the tiles are so poorly installed that I think I was better off without them. I wish there was an option to upload the pictures so people could understand my pain. Upon giving him calls to see the mess created by his guys he was reluctant at 1st to come and said he is tired & cant come. On sharing pics, he decided to show up & promised to clean the mess & complete the task. But after 2 weeks of struggle his guys shows up 3 times for 2-3 hour each. But today he finally decided to quit without doing his job. Now I need to find a new Contractor to complete the work. Also, He promised that he does quality work, to start when he visited and quoted me a price and said that he would send the quotation on mybuilder and thats how it works. He sent quotation 3 days later with 65% increase in price and later negotiated to 30% higher than original

Damp Proofing- 11 May 2026
My experience with Samuel was excellent. He provided a professional, comprehensive, and high-value damp survey for my basement. The final report was very thorough, including a detailed technical assessment and numerous photographs that clearly explained the situation. What really stood out was his willingness to answer several follow-up questions regarding the specific remedial work he suggested. His expertise helped clarify that the issues were environmental rather than structural, which provided great peace of mind. Highly recommended for anyone needing a clear, honest, and professional assessment.

Bricklaying- 17 Jun 2022
Our brick garden wall was collapsing and I contacted Richard Fitzgerald for a quotation. I'd already had a few quotes from other builders, some of whom had told me I needed work doing that didn't need doing! I found Richard to be trustworthy. He provided a competitive quote. He managed to source bricks that matched the colour of the adjoining wall, gave us a detailed breakdown of the work he would do, and didn't ask for any payment in advance. He built a strong brick wall with a concrete support wall behind. The finished wall is excellent and we are very happy with the work he and his team have done. On finishing the work the premises were left clean and tidy. I am very happy to recommend him.

Tiling- 10 May 2019
As per the previous reviewer I don't usually hire tradesmen when there is only limited feedback, but given the glowing report I took the risk. And it proved to be a great decision. Astrit was great - clear communication, arrived when he said he would, sought our opinions on the key decisions and gave some great advice, before ultimately doing a great job for a reasonable price. A pleasure to deal with and will hire again for any future tiling work. Thanks Astrit.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 19 Apr 2025
Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.
