Ground floor back extension, reconfiguration and full redecoration. We chose Dali, firstly through recommendations by neighbours, seeing his work first hand and feeling confident during the consultation phases of his ability to deliver. Prior to the job commencing a schedule of works and costing were clearly agreed. We were impressed with Dali's level of communication and his availability to meet with us personally. He would always return a message promptly and that continued throughout the job. Dali expertly guided us through the project and also arranged architect and structural drawings, site surveys, council applications and 3rd party wall advice. We decided to live-in during the build which is never ideal but Dali cordoned off spaces for us to live whilst allowing him to get on with the job. He set up temporary kitchen and laundry facility some 3 or 4 times for us! Now for the business end. Dali supervised the project but also allocated a Manager, Michal to be our point person and he was on site every day without fail. Both would respond to any question promptly and courteously. I learnt to keep the questions short and be more patient as the job progressed as everything was always on their agenda to be done. Teams of builders would arrive punctually by 8am and work would always start promptly. Everyone on the team had clear instructions and their industry was on show from start to finish. I could not fault them at all for their reliability and professionalism. They were all courteous, polite and respectful and would also make a point to clear up after themselves at the end of each day. On occasions I did request a deviation it was fully discussed so we could make informed decisions but nothing, no matter how small, was made to seem trivial as they were intent on delivering an unquestionable product. The job progressed sometimes at lightning pace with crews of builders coordinated daily and we hardly had a single day where someone was not in attendance. Dali would continue with a regular update by email or phone so we were always aware of progress. When problems did occur, Dali and Michal would distress those situations, find solutions quickly and sometimes you are oblivious to there even being a problem. On the few occasions they made mistakes they were not argued about but swiftly rectified ... finding someone who was honest and proud of their workmanship has been a true find. The work progressed to schedule and the end result is something we are not only thrilled about but cannot fault at all. It is a level of workmanship we have been truly delighted with. Another thing I am confident of is that if something does happen in the future Dali will respond to my call whether it be now or in a year's time. There is so much positive to be said and I would highly recommend DPS Ltd for their professionalism, reliability and workmanship so much so I have already asked them to continue on the 1st floor.

We had the pleasure of working with Alfa Style Limited on our loft conversion and we can recommend them highly and without reservation. Their work is incredible, attention to detail outstanding – our build was done with care and precision. They turned up on time every day, worked incredibly hard and quickly. In addition, they were extremely clean and tidy in the workplace – they never left the worksite in disarray. This is the first time we have done such a big project – Ruslan, Slava and their team were amazing. They were brilliant at explaining what was going to happen, day by day, week by week and translated the more technical information! No question or query was too much. The service after the build had finished has also been great, calls to check everything is OK and any queries we have, they are only a phone call away. We have had so many compliments from family and friends who have seen the finished build … it has made a huge difference to our house, we could not be happier.

Monika, Mario and the rest of the team at MB Building&Management Ltd have been amazing! Very skilled and knowledgable with a fine attention to detail. Monika was always able to accommodate the many requests from the client and delivered the full refurbishment of a 4 storey maisonette with 2 new bathrooms (one was a totally new room with new floor) within a month. No corners cut and still discussing details to get it right whilst working to a tight deadline. The bathrooms and all the other works that were undertaken are to the very highest standards. Monika spent endless hours detailing costs with a nervous client to reassure and give absolute clarity on the scheme. Went well above and beyond! I am certainly working with MB Building&Management Ltd for another job.

Conversions - General- 3 Jul 2023
We chose SWLBC to refurbish a two-bedroom flat. This entailed complete redecoration, replacement of the flooring with a new engineered wood floor, moving old and installing new electrical sockets and light switches, running some new piping and replacing the heating system with a more modern and efficient one. The quote from SWLBC was very competitive and we are really happy with the quality of the work. The flat is transformed and it looks terrific. Ben Toone who is the proprietor of the company is very professional and helpful. He was easy to contact and responded to our questions quickly and thoroughly. We met some members of his team during the works and they are hard working and competent. They also cleaned up the site beautifully after they had finished. Thank you Ben and your team. Abdul cane to estimate the job. He started working the next day. He changed a completed bathroom. New toilet, new basin and new shower and base. Also fitted a hot water boiler for the basin. He completed the job and I was happy to pay him for his speedy work.

Simon & his team have done a rear extension & loft conversion for us. The work has been carried out to a high standard and was completed ahead of schedule. Simon has been professional throughout and we had a very positive working relationship. He gave us good advice & suggestions throughout the project which improved on the plans from our architect. He also listened to our ideas and was always willing to add in extra bespoke details, for example, a bar in our kitchen based off a Pinterest picture. His team are all polite & hard working. Overall a very positive experience!
