Oliver has built a brick wall for a raised flower bed and then a longer, small wall to retain extra topsoil and new lawn. I am happy with the walls, they look good and were built quickly even though the weather was very hot. However, I am not too happy about finishing up the work. We have discussed about breaking and removing the extra cement around the walls, which will prohibit grass from growing. I have promptly paid the invoices received from Oliver, even though this work was not carried out. I was repeatedly promised that the work will be finished at a later date, but that never happened.

Plastering works. Skimming to boards in various locations and bonding and skim to large wall, plus other various patching-in. Maciek and Bartek carried out the work to a high standard in the time that they said they would. They arrived promptly and worked hard throughout. Very competative quote. Always polite and couteous and tidied up after themselves. I would have no hesitation in asking them to quote for future work.

Incredible guys with a great work ethic. No nonsense but plenty of good humour, respectful and courteous to the neighbours (starting and finishing at appropriate hours), but were always early in preparation for the day. Consummate professionals, and even better builders! My block and brickwork is perfect as is everything else- nothing is out of place and they were both flexible and amenable when we came across unforeseen problems under the ground. Already booking more work with them early next year, so get in fast, they are a popular local trader. My finished product will look better than the original plans.

Hired to move a soil pipe to relocate the toilet. The experience from start to finish was simple and I found a Jason to be very friendly and honest. Unfortunately the job had to be stopped as what was planned was not possible and this was only discovered once the work had started. Jason was quick to explain the issue to me and why we could not complete what was planned. We knew before work started that it might have been an issue but has to get under the floor to know for sure. Jason and his team repaired the floor again and cleaned up after themselves. They even were polite enough to have coffee rather than be subjected to my poor tea making ability. 😋 Overall I’m happy with the work that was carried about. Yes is a shame that was not able to fully complete the job but that is down to the existing pipes already installed. I would recommend this tradesman.

We hired Olde Oak Construction to refurbish a large run down studio flat in Bath. As we could not be around a lot we were looking for a building firm that was reliable, honest, and professional. We are so glad we found Olde Oak. The quality of work was exemplary, and Sam kept us updated at all times with reports and pictures. Kevin and his team are without a doubt the best bunch of workers you will ever meet. They work around the clock to keep us on target for the build dates. Their work is perfect and they left us with a a tidy site once they were finished. If you are having any work being done then give these guys a shout.
