Ground floor back extension, reconfiguration and full redecoration. We chose Dali, firstly through recommendations by neighbours, seeing his work first hand and feeling confident during the consultation phases of his ability to deliver. Prior to the job commencing a schedule of works and costing were clearly agreed. We were impressed with Dali's level of communication and his availability to meet with us personally. He would always return a message promptly and that continued throughout the job. Dali expertly guided us through the project and also arranged architect and structural drawings, site surveys, council applications and 3rd party wall advice. We decided to live-in during the build which is never ideal but Dali cordoned off spaces for us to live whilst allowing him to get on with the job. He set up temporary kitchen and laundry facility some 3 or 4 times for us! Now for the business end. Dali supervised the project but also allocated a Manager, Michal to be our point person and he was on site every day without fail. Both would respond to any question promptly and courteously. I learnt to keep the questions short and be more patient as the job progressed as everything was always on their agenda to be done. Teams of builders would arrive punctually by 8am and work would always start promptly. Everyone on the team had clear instructions and their industry was on show from start to finish. I could not fault them at all for their reliability and professionalism. They were all courteous, polite and respectful and would also make a point to clear up after themselves at the end of each day. On occasions I did request a deviation it was fully discussed so we could make informed decisions but nothing, no matter how small, was made to seem trivial as they were intent on delivering an unquestionable product. The job progressed sometimes at lightning pace with crews of builders coordinated daily and we hardly had a single day where someone was not in attendance. Dali would continue with a regular update by email or phone so we were always aware of progress. When problems did occur, Dali and Michal would distress those situations, find solutions quickly and sometimes you are oblivious to there even being a problem. On the few occasions they made mistakes they were not argued about but swiftly rectified ... finding someone who was honest and proud of their workmanship has been a true find. The work progressed to schedule and the end result is something we are not only thrilled about but cannot fault at all. It is a level of workmanship we have been truly delighted with. Another thing I am confident of is that if something does happen in the future Dali will respond to my call whether it be now or in a year's time. There is so much positive to be said and I would highly recommend DPS Ltd for their professionalism, reliability and workmanship so much so I have already asked them to continue on the 1st floor.

I could not praise Darek enough for his standard of work, punctuality, professionalism and respect. We hired him in Jan 2018 for the complete renovation of a 4 bedroom house, garden and front patio. Not only did he do each aspect of his job to a high standard, his knowledge and advice went a long way in helping to make repairs we had not identified but were much needed. He offers a very reasonable quote and clearly cares about his work. He has excellent time management, commitment, is reliable and trust worthy. I would not hesitate to recommend him!

We had a really good experience with Tom and his team. We appointed them to carry out some work and found Tom very responsive and easy to deal with. We carried out a site visit on an existing project, and the flat to be renovated, both to see them in action on another project and to fully scope our renovation. The quality of work and advice was excellent. Tom was really flexible and offered professional advice and had our interests as his primary focus. His estimates were clear, itemised, altered when requested, and very prompt. Unfortunately we had an issue with the sale so weren't able to go through with the project, but will definitely contact Emitom for our next project. I would definitely recommend from the experience we had.

Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

Ciprian and his team at Housix have been fantastic, and we would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to other people undertaking a house refurbishment. We first spoke to Ciprian when we were considering buying a 1930s house that had not been updated for at least 30 years. He provided advice and a ballpark quote that gave us the confidence to bid on the property. Once the bid had been accepted, we got Housix and three other companies to quote for the full refurbishment of the property including new plumbing, boiler, electrics, kitchen, bathroom, update the garden and full replastering. Housix gave the most competitive quote and Ciprian came across as very knowledgeable. We agreed to work with Housix but we had delays of two months on our chain. This was no problem for Housix and the day after the purchase went through they were on-site working. We were told it would take 8-10 weeks (other builders told us 10-12 weeks), and they finished in 7 weeks. The quality of the finish is outstanding. Due to lockdown, living a 3 hour round trip away and expecting a baby during the refurb, we couldn’t visit very often but Ciprian was constantly in contact by phone and email. Ciprian managed the whole project and brought in experts for things like the boiler installation. He also liaised with our other contractors, making sure they did what we contracted them to do. We are so pleased we our new house and would recommend Housix for similar work.

Daniel was professional, knowledgable and accommodating from the first day we met to discuss the job until the last day when he talked me through everything that has been done. I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. They were attentive to our requirements and requests and did an excellent job of turning a tricky bathroom renovation (which ran for ~4 weeks) into a painless and enjoyable experience. Problems found along the way were raised with or by me and solved quickly and efficiently by the team. The attention to detail and finish of my bathroom fit was excellent and meant the room had the feel of expense and luxury at a pretty reasonable cost. This was a large job that Daniel and his team (Roger must also be highly commended) carried out to a very high standard

Agim and his team were great - communicated what they would do at each stage, the timing, materials needed etc., no major surprises. The building is quite old and wonky in places so they had to work with that and the finished result looks great. Very happy and have would recommend Agim again!
