Dean & Lewis did a great job working well as a team to lift & replace a Patio area & lay from scratch a second area. We selected porcelain tiles with many contractors not wanting to tackle the job. Not Dean & Lewis, they are very competent & make a very professional job of handling, cutting & grouting both areas. Small company starting out to enter the contractor market - very few reviews but we are delighted we took the chance after speaking to the guys - highly recommended. Although job required digging out, laying sub-base & mixing full bed sand & cement the guys prepared to protect areas & left no mess - fully meeting customer requirements. Watching them work their skills were obvious & teamwork seamless. Laying 60 x 60cm smooth tiles means there is no room for uneven surface - no need to worry, both areas look like a continuous area, no protruding edges. Very competent team we have no concerns recommending.

Complete waste of my time. Came to look at the job and emailed me a quote which I accepted. Unfortunately although I suggested a week at the end of February to start the work he text back saying he would let me know but I had to chase him. I have given up trying to get a start date despite my repeated requests and have consequently employed someone else. If he wasn’t interested he should have informed me. Complete amateur in my opinion.

Fire damaged stonework above an electricity meter box and around a kitchen window. An awkward job but DSR were able to rise to the challenge. They turned up when they said they would so the job could interface with the window installers. They were also confident and competent enough to work in the vicinity of the meter box without the need to require disconnection which maintained our electricity supply. The quality of the finished stonework was very good and the lads were pleasant on site. All round good job and very satisfied, would easily recommend.

David came to the rescue. After I had started the job myself as a DIY. I had dug out and put down non-square sleepers he came in a did a great job of laying the porcelain. This included awkward angled cuts to counteract the off-square sleepers I had laid. He comes with enthusiasm and his work is high quality. He also protected other parts of the garden/drive before using equipment and left it completely clean and tidy. Really happy with his work and would recommend

Ian undertook some lintel repair work for us on our rented garages. We were happy with the first few repairs, but the last two were rushed and the work was left incomplete. Because the walls and lintels were not strapped correctly, the lintels have slipped, leaving the structure unsafe and unsupported. I have tried to resolve this amicably over the past few months, but he continually found reasons to delay fixing his mistakes. He is now completely ignoring calls and messages. We had more work lined up for him, but we will now be using someone else as we can no longer trust him to complete a job to a satisfactory or safe standard.

Paul quoted me to render the garden wall. I cannot fault his workmanship at all! Even if I did choose an odd colour ha! He was punctual each day and explained everything to keep me up to date with what was going on, from being able to get supply of my off colour render to each stage of the process. The wall looks much better now. I would definitely recommend Ab Fab plastering and will continue to use them for any other work than shall need to be done to my properties.
