As a Chartered Building Surveyor with experience of working with multiple builders. I can confidently say Jonny is one of the best small builder that I have worked with. Having reconfigured my kitchen, he’s multi skilled with saved me the hassle of calling in different trades. This was an awkward job, working in tight spaces with very little room for error and Jonny nailed it, from rewiring, plumbing, reinstalling quooket tap, new plug sockets and extraction unit - he did it all. Jonny stuck to his quote and didn’t try to play the usual builders games, and where I asked for more work to be done, we agreed a reasonable price through a clear add and omit schedule. He is one of very few builders who would actually omit costs for works that was not completed without a fight. With all his skills I am most impressed with Jonny’s genuine desire to do a job and ethical conduct. I’m happy to act as a reference for any perspective customer.

I recently had Hamza fit 7 new thumb locks for me and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He charged a very fair price, worked quickly and efficiently, but still took great care to avoid damaging my oak doors. The quality of the work was excellent and everything was left neat and tidy. On top of that, Hamza is a genuinely lovely guy — friendly, professional and easy to deal with. I’d highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable joiner or locksmith. Thank you so much Hamza!

Vincent was very easy to work with, we first went through the problem which was a water ingress in a basement and damp problem. He quickly gave me an estimate of the solution, which was very reasonable. Time to completion as well was very quick, and there was minimal disruption. Communication was very clear. Vincent also had great connections with other problems I had. I would thoroughly recommend Vincent and Absolute Building and Maintainance.

In August 2021 we had a 50sqm annex built and a 50sqm wrap around ground floor extension. Andrew did the ground works on both projects and carried his work out to a very high standard. I am beyond happy with my garden landscaping! Scott and team worked tirelessly, to transform a lacklustre new build garden into a beautiful space. It was a boggy mess of uneven lawn, with patches of grass missing and no place for planting. They removed the existing lawn, prepared the ground, created borders, which had a lovely porcelain tile edge, back filled and planted up with ornamental trees and Buxus. The borders were finished with decorative stone to match existing areas by the patio. Once these were in place, brand new turf was installed to complete the look. I am absolutely delighted to look out of my window to admire the sleek new modern garden. A lot of care and attention went into the initial appointment to get an understanding of what I expected. The quote was itemised and clear. My driveway and patio was protected from the heavy deliveries and the team cleaned up every area after they had left. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Very friendly and professional.

Lloyd was quick to come round to offer advice and a quote for the work we required ( reworking the path layout and making a new resin based walkway) he talked sense and wasn’t pushy in his recommendations . Lloyd kept us informed throughout the lead time on materials and he and his team showed up on time without letdown. They worked quickly and efficiently even though the weather was against them and were very respectful of our property and our neighbours. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess. We will be using Lloyd and his team again and I’m happy I’ve finally found an outfit that can be relied on for our future work

Andrew came when he said he would for quote (in fact he was ten minutes early and apologised). We discussed a few options and he told us what we could do to make it cheaper. We had a leak whilst removing the old plaster and when I let him know he was lovely and asked if I wanted to change the date he was meant to start. We didn't and he cracked on. The scope of works was extended due to a wooden lintel and window frame being rotten due to water ingress. He explained everything and let me know the cost of fixing before he did so. He was constantly in touch and letting me know how it was going whilst I was at work which was reassuring for me and my slight need to be in control! He came back the night after finding the lintel to explain what he had found and the reasons it needed fixing. The job he has done on what can only be described as a cave is great. Andrew is a lovely man, and at no point did we feel like we have with other "professional tradesmen" in the past. And his work is great. It has been a pleasure having andrew work on our house. I now have a list as long as my arm that I have asked him to tackle when he is free! Even though he's telling me my other half is capable! Thank you, Andrew, for a job well done! I hope to see you again soon!

Very happy with the work performed by Stuart and team. They were communicative, priced competitively and completed work to a high standard. They helped us with a few ad hoc tasks including a window lintel installation, chimney capping and a door installation. Highly recommended.
