If you're looking for a building firm you can rely on through thick and thin, then look no further. We engaged MMP to knock through both a kitchen/dining room - removing two chimney breasts - and an outer wall to install bi-fold doors, in an old Victorian house we had recently moved into. Andrew came to quote and was courteous, knowledgeable and described the schedule of works clearly. Unfortunately, after works began, structural issues that were not pointed out in the survey arose, that required immediate remedial work for our original works continued. I feel that many small building firms would have washed their hands of the project a this point, but Andrew diligently suggested Structural engineers, liaised with the local Borough Council building control, and even helped pen letters to the surveyor asking for recompense for their faulty Homebuyers survey. Obviously, due to this, the project took longer than we had originally envisaged, but Andrew and his team were often at our house late into the evening, tidying up after a long day of work. The building works were completed last week, and we're thrilled with the result. The new doors look great and, even before the new plaster is painted, we're really happy with how our new room looks. Every day of works, I'd get an email from Andrew, listing the works carried out, any problems that had arisen, and many photos of the progress. On our first meeting I felt comfortable and was glad of input from Robin. Agreed to a plan and only had to wait a few weeks before work could start. All preparations made to protect my drive before skip arrived. All work carried out in a very professional manner and team were very polite and friendly. Even though weather was against ground works they provided shelter so work could continue. I’ve been very pleased with their approach and can’t fault the outcome. Although met with a couple of delays on garden furniture, (nothing to do with Robin and his team, circumstances outside control)all other aspects of this job have met with my approval. Was apprehensive of having people in but can honestly say there have not been any issues and when the skip was removed within an hour, Robin was back on site to clear and wash down the drive. So looking as good as new. It’s been a pleasure having them on my property and will look at using their services again in the future should the need arise. Nothing too much bother. So my thanks to them all.

We highly recommend Mario & his team. They fitted a new kitchen & bathroom to a really high standard within a short, timeframe. They work hard, are friendly, professional & honest, my neighbour even commented on how considerate they were! Upon first meeting Mario we were impressed by how organised he was. He arrived on time with the description we’d posted on my builder & went through it methodically. We had A LOT of questions! He answered all of them & didn’t rush us. We received a competitive quote within a day as promised. It included everything we discussed & he quickly answered our follow up questions. We wanted an accurate idea of the cost of electrical work & Mario arranged for his electrician to come & inspect/quote before we’d appointed Mario the job. Our kitchen & bathroom is complicated, with lots of difficult angles. Damp, unlevel floor, unlevel windows, a low ceiling were uncovered in the bathroom. Mario did well to identify solutions, giving us expert advice. Pipes were neatly chased into the wall. Underfloor heating & LVT, tiling, grouting & painting all done to a very professional finish. He kept us informed of progress, checked our preferences & was patient when we had supply delays, finding ways to ensure the job finished on time enabling us to move from our temporary accommodation back home in time for Christmas. He promptly fixed some minor issues after the job finished. We highly recommend Mario & would use him again.

Terrible workmanship, came and did my bathroom. Since then I have struggled with damp as the plaster used wasn't treated correctly. Now the tiles are also coming away. I am stuck with a second rate bathroom which I now have to get redone. Absolutely terrible...

To say Nick is just a kitchen fitter isn’t doing his work justice, he’s a fantastic project manager and craftsmen as well. When we first met Nick he took 2 hours of his time running through all the options which was when we realised we were actually quite clueless! Although we hadn’t hired him at this point his advice was invaluable. We assumed this would mean Nick’s professionalism would mean he would be very expensive, this was not the case and he was actually a little cheaper than the other parties who quoted. Once Nick started it became apparent that he and his assistant Chow to great pride in their work and worked hard to get the job finished as quickly as possible to the highest standard. They left the site spotless at the end of each day. The result is a fantastic kitchen and flooring which we are extremely happy with. We are already thinking about the next renovation piece in our home and would love to use Nick again. Thanks Nick! Niall & Hannah

What can i say, great guys to work with. Came round and quoted as planned. Good competitive pricing. Completed the job better than planned. Always advised and tried to improve on the plans, really have good attention to detail and take so much pride in their work. Job completed bang on time. Never had a issue whatsoever. We did a lot of research ahead of our loft build, and spoke to customers of the companies we looked at. We were impressed with Toma and her team from the outset, especially in terms of clarity and communication. We sat down with the project team at the start and walked through the week-by-week plan for our build, then a whatsapp group and weekly meets meant we knew exactly what was happening throughout. Our endless questions were responded to swiftly. Additional optional trade-ups (eg top-hung windows, larger bathroom window etc) were discussed and explained with context, sound advice (and clear pricing where nec) but always still optional. Toma's communication with the teams also seemed strong and continuous, with materials always arriving in time and ahead of when needed, no down-days etc - and importantly, the teams all seemed happy and were just lovely people to have around. I realise with hindsight too that the team's care and workmanship really put them a cut above many others in my area and the project remained on schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ICS for the whole package and in fact we've also chosen to use them again for a kitchen extension.
