Sam and Jamie were great from start to finish with our patio. We had a tricky space to configure, but these guys were able to go above and beyond to bring our patio to life. They turned up on time every day, finished when they’d anticipated they would and were friendly and respectful to us and our neighbours (even our 80 year old elderly neighbour only had good things to say about them). Our patio looks great and we’re incredibly happy with it. Jamie and sam were thoughtful of our budget throughout, but didn’t compromise on the overall look and we couldn’t be happier. We’d use them again for sure and have already recommended them onto our family and friends.

Rob Workman IS a master craftsman. I know it says so in writing. But now that our extensive rebuild and extensions are complete, we have seen it with our own eyes as our project unfolded. Rob took our falling down, damp, mouldy, unattractive bungalow and gave us back the keys to what more than one visitor has described as a ‘Grand Designs’ and stunning modern home that meets the highest grade of eco builds. As well as working with meticulous care & always remeasuring twice ‘just to make sure’, Rob proved himself to be good at tackling the challenges & curve balls that doing up a house is always going to throw up. Our roof, and two of the walls, proved to be insubstantial to the point of dangerous. Rob worked hard to find a cost-effective solution which met the approval of the building inspector and structural engineers. As well as Rob working on site, he brought Matt and Josh who were the epitome of polite, careful workers whose own professionalism at everything from groundwork, brickwork roofing & much else besides was a pleasure to see. Other contractors who Rob brought in - such as Simon Stadden Windows - produced great quality work to complement that of the main team. We are than pleased with the work done, with the timeliness of the work, with the price, with the tidiness of the team, and above all with the gorgeous, solid house they have left behind for us. We can recommend Rob and his team unconditionally to those looking for builders.

Conversions - General- 26 May 2010
Thanks to Lester and Chris, all work completed, very easy to work with and any questions/queries we had were always addressed. Left the place tidy each time and kept us informed of what was happening. Last few little bits tidied up and any problems have been told to get in touch with them. Out of four builders contacted on here only Lester turned up to quote and once his quote was approved he rang to organise start date, they were here every morning at 8am without fail. Really pleased with end result, thank you.

Plastering works. Skimming to boards in various locations and bonding and skim to large wall, plus other various patching-in. Maciek and Bartek carried out the work to a high standard in the time that they said they would. They arrived promptly and worked hard throughout. Very competative quote. Always polite and couteous and tidied up after themselves. I would have no hesitation in asking them to quote for future work.

I just cannot recommend Charlie too highly. He submitted a competitive quotation for the trench works that I needed doing to conceal a new electric power cable from my house to my garage (75 metres). This involved excavating the trench partly through a well consolidated pathway & then across my lawn. Charlie's communication was exemplary & he arrived exactly at the time & on the day that was agreed. He work incredibly hard during a stinking hot day & was determined to finish on that day - he worked solidly from 7.00am until almost 9.00pm to complete the job which he did. I now look at the areas that he excavated & it is difficult to to find the line of his work. He was always mindful that he was working in a home environment & was careful not to disturb my flower planters & borders etc. He tidied everything up on completion & I cannot now tell that he was here yesterday!!. If you need groundwork done & need someone reliable & hard working & conscientious, look no further than Charlie Cleaver. He is also such a nice & personable young man.

RAM Roofing did an amazing job from start to finish converting our flat roof extension to a pitched roof with twin Velux windows. Even though they were plagued with the wettest week of the summer, Ryan and his dedicated team were able to cut the roof install the windows, insulation, roof tiles, gable framing extending and forming a soffit all without effecting us internally. Then once the opening in the ceiling cut they did a plastering job to an externally high standard. Although a lot of ‘roofers’ say they can do it all, RAM really can deliver and in reality are a full works Building Contractor. Very impressed. High standard of work. Competitive price. A pleasure to work with.

Hired to move a soil pipe to relocate the toilet. The experience from start to finish was simple and I found a Jason to be very friendly and honest. Unfortunately the job had to be stopped as what was planned was not possible and this was only discovered once the work had started. Jason was quick to explain the issue to me and why we could not complete what was planned. We knew before work started that it might have been an issue but has to get under the floor to know for sure. Jason and his team repaired the floor again and cleaned up after themselves. They even were polite enough to have coffee rather than be subjected to my poor tea making ability. 😋 Overall I’m happy with the work that was carried about. Yes is a shame that was not able to fully complete the job but that is down to the existing pipes already installed. I would recommend this tradesman.
