Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

Asen did an incredible job! In just under 4 weeks he managed to assemble a team and complete renovation on a 2 bed flat including: * Full rewiring, new lights, updating and adding sockets * Fixing rotten and uneven subfloor and levelling the whole house * Wood flooring throughout - done excellently with no thresholds * New boiler and all new radiators * Built a pocket door at the porch to stop our kitties from escaping * Tiled the fireplace * Skirting, decorating and repainting the entire flat * Dealt with gutting the place and arranging pickup of rubish The place looks and feels amazing and everything works! Asen was good on the price, kept to the (very tight) timelines, great communication throughout and overall very professional and friendly! Pics shows after and during the work, ignore the moving boxes.

Despite some initial positives, the project was ultimately marred by poor communication, unprofessional conduct & serious breaches of trust. We strongly advise against using Bluelime due to the stress, financial impact, & unresolved issues we faced. While kitchen & bathroom installations were OK & progressed quickly, Bluelime deviated from approved plans in a conservation area, causing compliance issues (estimated correction costs of £15–£20k). Heating & insulation were poorly installed, & second opinions confirmed our dissatisfaction. Communication broke down, with responses defensive and intimidating. Costs rose unexpectedly (e.g. door fitting from £1200 to £2640) & inflated quotes in later stages. The property wasn’t ready for move-in multiple times, disrupting our young family. Additional concerns included missing tools, ignored warranties, inconsistent workmanship & misleading claims about affiliations. We urge others to check Bluelime (Alton Campbell) on Companies House.

I recently hired A1&PM to carry out structural repairs on my house, including replacing window lintels and providing complex temporary works to support the structure during the repairs. They also patched plaster, skimmed a wall, rendered, and repointed an external wall. From start to finish, the team was professional and reliable, turning up on time with all the necessary tools and materials. Protecting carpets and covering furniture. Their knowledge and expertise were evident throughout, and they completed the work exactly as promised. The pricing was very competitive, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I was initially sceptical due to some past review, but my experience couldn't have been better. I would definitely use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

I selected James for a kitchen installation based on his stated 14 years’ experience and a positive initial conversation. Layout designs were shared and discussed, and a 3-day schedule (14–16 Feb) and price agreed. I also requested end-of-day progress videos, which were not consistently provided. Day 1 went smoothly. By the end of day 2 it became clear two tall larder units required strategic cutting to fit around an existing boiler and waste pipe—something visible from the video I requested. Given the prior site visit and plans shared, it was surprising this had not been anticipated earlier. After around three hours on day 3 a workable solution was implemented, but the delay disrupted the schedule. My main concern came the following day when I learned a supplier had been told to deal directly with James and the client, despite me having engaged him for the project. No professional loyalty shown or final video of works shared. Disappointing.
