I have been very pleased and impressed with Shane’s workmanship. Shane was very skilled and a tidy worker. He was knowledgeable and managed to do an excellent job in excavating the wall and floor so that the existing protruding copper pipes in my old kitchen were hidden and no longer sitting proud of the wall. He relocated the mains water pipe in the old kitchen, got rid of the old boxing and replaced plastic pipes with copper pipes. He also reconnected and hid the pipe work for the out side tap in the wall. He filled in all the holes and channels he had excavated to a high standard ready for the room to be plastered and made into a new sitting room. I would highly recommend this young man. He explained everything that he needed to do and informed me about the materials that would be needed and their cost. His quote was very competitive and realistic for quite a tricky job and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He also recommended an electrician colleague who was able to disconnect the old kitchen electrical cables and make them safe. Thank you so much Shane for a job well done and your good communication and commitment to getting it right. I will definitely see you again and recommend your skills and knowledge to friends and family and other customers on this website

Darrell was great from start to finish. He came out on a Sunday to look at the damage to my property and was the only person to actually find what the issue was. He carried out the work to a high standard and actually sorted out a few other things whilst at my flat for no extra charge. I will definitely be using Darrell again.

Punctual, professional and courteous. Both guys worked really hard in very hot conditions. Their workmanship was of a very high standard and left our garden very tidy. I would definitely recommend these guys. Also price was very reasonable.

It’s very easy to recommend Charlie and his team. Although this was only a small bathroom to refit it was for an older client who needed assistance with all of the options of materials and fittings as well as layout and finishes. Charlie handled everything with professionalism and good humour and the finished job is exactly what we were after. From quotation to finishing up this is how everyone should complete this type of job (but few do).

Very happy with Artur’s work, he’s punctual and professional. His quotes are quick and competitively prices. He installed a shower tray, toilet cistern and boxed in the pipes by building a false wall with a shower niche. Would highly recommend and definitely use Turcan services again.

I have been a Bricklayer for over 30years and can do all types of brickwork which I have a full three year City & Guilds Construction qualification. Also I am capable of some ground works including drainage, slab laying, block paving , fencing and concrete work. I also have experience in carpentry and can do all first fix work plus 50% of second fix . If I am not able to do certain other works I have many other good, reliable, friendly and qualified tradesmen contacts that I can recommend .

We eventually did not go ahead but in the pre agreement process Darren was excellent with suggestions and solid knowledge. He even ordered material samples on his own initiative. I would have no hesitation in consulting him again in the future.

This man gave me a good quote for an extension; much needed for my disabled husband. I needed a wet room and bedroom to accommodate his needs. To my horror (and expense) I discovered that he had no experience whatsoever. He was keen and polite but did not know that he was required to speak to building control. His response when I asked him was ‘oh yes’ tell him he is welcome to see what I have done. He had no idea how to read plans and kept blaming the architect for his lack of understanding. Given the hash he was making my benefactor appointed a site manager. He would not allow this. I moved out for a month (at great expense) with my disabled husband so that he could continue the build. Through this time I had no contact except from the building inspector who told me to get him off the job because he didn’t know what he was doing. The site was on a hill and no consideration had been given for a potential landslide which potentially could kill us. He was asked to leave the site given his ineptitude but his was after he managed to afford a new van out of us. 18 months on and at great expense I may just be moving in to my extension. The toll it has taken on me and my husband is catastrophic. He presents as a very nice man and actually did a lovely job on plastering over the damage he had created in my kitchen. I am sure, from other reviews, that he is an excellent plasterer however, should he answer your request on a build, don’t do it. Any of this is untrue H?
