Driveways (Paved & Loose)- 2 Apr 2018
100% NEGATIVE and TOTALLY POOR JOB - MILES AWAY FROM BEING ACCEPTABLE! They are a bunch of cowboys. They haven't delivered what we have agreed before work commenced. Just noticed they haven't posed 100mm sub-base as necessary for standard driveway (the sub-base is currently being made of only few mm of sand. No trace of MOT Type 1 or 3 sub-base aggregate). Also, bricks are laid on few mm of building sand (not grit sand compacted at 50mm). As results, as soon as I attempted to drive on, bricks moved and sank. When I have asked them how the base was made, they are firmly confirmed the work has been professional done. What great liars! This’s completely rubbish job. Obviously, now I must spend double amount of money to make it right. Not to mention hassles! They are not reliable at all, neither professional. Also, edge finishes are rubbish too. It looks like bricks have been cut by bare hands. This job is miles away to be acceptable. We believed we have been victim of fraud by these incompetent cowboys. Never suggest them to anybody. They must be challenged to trades and standards. They shouldn’t keep working and stealing money from anybody. I hope this feedback will help others not to be trapped by these cowboys!

I have extensive experience in the following fields; Windows, Doors and Conservatories. Fascias and Guttering. Bathroom fitting Kitchen fitting Bespoke timber warm conservatory rooves with excellent reviews. Artificial grass. Any general home improvements. I am not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. That being said, I do not have the overheads that a bigger company would have so that helps my prices stay lower for a higher quality job.

Home extension completed by Mick, & we are absolutely thrilled with the results. From the very beginning, Mick was professional, approachable, & incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and offered brilliant advice along the way. One of the things that really stood out was Mick’s practical and creative ideas some of his suggestions actually saved us money without compromising on quality or design, which we really appreciated. I was taken in by a cowboy. So disappointed. I needed a soakaway. Matt didn't do written, itemised quotes. After 1 day's work he said he needed more money for extra work (hadn't surveyed properly) including hiring a concrete drill to get through the footings next to the house wall (he assured me this was fine). He wanted cash for some of the work (I didn't do this). The job wasn't finished properly. I couldn't be there to supervise as the dates originally agreed were changed. My original steps were damaged during the work and not replaced. I now have a muddy slope up to the lawn - a hazard and I can't easily get up there. All the clay soil and stones from the dug out pit were thrown all over my precious flower beds, burying and damaging plants and shrubs. Some won't recover - a total mess. When I spoke to Matt he said he didn't know that I didn't want that! (Saved cost of proper disposal). A load of rubble was thrown behind the summerhouse out of sight, and one of the other workers was blamed for this. I asked Matt to come back to rectify the damage, although I had done my best to clear most of the soil and stones from the garden (I'm in my mid 60's and not in the best of health). We arranged dates for him to return four times - no one turned up and I had to contact Matt to find out what was going on - always excuses. 8 weeks after the original date agreed my garden is still a mess. I wish I could attach photos. I now have to pay someone else to put it all right.

Conversions - General- 5 Mar 2019
I contacted Ethan Nov18 we wanted our basement converted. He seemed like a trust worthy man that had experience and knowledge, we put our faith in him to do the job! below why this is a negative review; 1. We payed £4000 upfront for him to buy the materials but the materials where purchased personally by the tradesman who told us they did not know Ethan (Ethan told us he had a team of tradesmen within his company) 2. He promised us he would over see the whole job, but he only spent a total of 20 hours at our home in the space of 2 months using excuse after excuse as to why he could not come. (we both lost money from taking time off work to meet him at the house) 3. Ethan finally came to knock down a wall. Once it was down he unbelievably told me " I have knocked the wall down, hope its not a supporting wall, we will just see how the house settles" ! we then had to get a surveyor ourselves to come and check that it was not a supporting wall as Ethan would not answer his phone! luckily it was not. 4. Its a shame we cant put pictures on here of the poor quality of work he has done. In regards to the floor which he "levelled" and "damp proofed" ( floor was wet to touch) and he used insulation that was meant for a shed, the carpet fitters refused to lay over it and we lost our deposit. There is so much more i could say,the work is not done and we have not heard from Ethan regarding rectifying the work after messaging and calling him. He is a liar and should not be trusted!
