Our 3 bedroom, Grade 2 listed house is nearly 200 years old and hadn't been renovated since the early 1990's. A complete redecoration and remodel was needed. Their work was done to completion and not too over-time, despite numerous snags and many logistical difficulties. The commitment and patience of all involved was admirable, never once becoming dis-heartened, and always pushing us to make sure materials were on order and if we were happy with the work as it progressed. They have the skills and the ability to improvise as they go. The pricing was fair and actually cheap by London standards. The "finish" was the stage where we all had to come to an agreement over where to stop, and this is usually the most contentious stage in a project. This was surprisingly stress-free. The main snag was with floorboard sanding preparation. If floors aren't 100% prepped, the result can look patchy to the trained eye. They made sure that the end result was acceptable to us when we questioned the finish by doing the entire sand and re-staining over again. That shows great care and attention to customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have extensive remodeling done to thier property. They are capable of dealing with sensitive historical properties and adhering to a budget whilst correcting errors that appear along the way. A perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness.

Victor (Vica) laid some engineered oak wood flooring for us in a house that we bought at the end of 2013. The house needed lots of work doing and the new flooring was just one of the many jobs undertaken by Victor and carried out to a very high standard for us. He always paid attention to detail, ensured that the flooring was level and that the new skirting board fitted flush to the floorboards. He was also always able to provide a solution to any problems encountered during the renovation works. I would have no hesitation in recommending Victor as he takes the same pride in his work for others as if he was carrying out work in his own home.

I hired Mr Simon Javens of JavensDesign and found him to be very professional and able to turn around a difficult planning application accurately and quickly complete with fully CAD design specifications. He is willing to go the extra mile to liaise with third party agencies, be it the Council or previous structural surveyor(s) and architect(s). A very pleasant chap indeed. Ricky Reid I was looking for a company who could help me with a light refurbishment (kitchen, bathroom and full decoration) of a one bedroom flat in south west London to be ready for rental within 15 days. I posted my ad request on mybuilder.com and a few companies contacted me. Ricky Reid, was the third one I met and eventually the one I chose. Why? R. was straight forward, no gimmicks and did his best to understand what my needs were from day one. Especially when my vision at the start wasn’t that clear. Him and his team delivered within the time frame agreed as well as within the quote given plus a few extras that hadn’t been considered at the start of the project. He was always available for questions or clarifications needed over the phone at any time! A rare quality in itself in the building world. If there was anything that could be improved, this would be clarifying certain jobs that were on the quote (and I mean specifically what they exactly covered) from the start to avoid stingy or unexpected surprises cost wise. However this isn’t Ricky’s fault and I take my full responsibility as I should have done my homework before hand. Overall satisfied with the result and I would certainly contact Ricky and his team for my next future projects and so should you reading this review. Thank you Ricky and all the best in your company venture.
