Ross sorted out my back garden, he put in some planters for me and a big pond in for me. Done all the garden with some natural stone, and some decking and a base for a hot tub. Really happy with the job - spot on and exactly what I wanted, price was also spot on. The price came in what he quoted me. Job was completed on time and he turned up when he said he would and some days he stayed later to make sure it got done on time. Id use him again and can 100% recommend him.

Paul is a very friendly and professional guy. He has completed a feature panel wall in my living room for me, and although he does offer a paint service included, I already have my own decorators who are currently working on the house so my own decorators will be painting this. (I will be sending photos once it is all painted)! He was able to come one day earlier than planned, arrived on time, and was able to work around quite a small space as my house is a bit of a building site at the moment. He uses quality equipment to get the job done too. When discussing costs, Paul was very patient with me in explaining the costing system, as I had quite a few questions before I agreed to go ahead with the work. Some people would not be as professional and respectful as Paul was in this instance. Paul is also an honest worker, as the job was not as taxing as he had estimated it to be, so when I paid him he returned a portion of the money much to my surprise. Not many people would be as honest as this. Paul is very reasonably priced overall (even without the 'discount' provided at the end!) and has done a great job of the panels so I can't wait to see it when it is complete by the decorator!

Very Professional job with nice finish and all work areas left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to use Northern Stonework again for any masonry or stonework. Excellent.

Liar and a Cowboy,be careful or you'll find out for yourself the hard way,thankfully I can take the loss, old age pensioners who have saved hard to improve there home,then recieve this appalling work can't! It wipes them out, I have since had my house rendered by professionals and very happy with it,you or anyone with similar horror stories from hiring this clown or considering hiring him should read this first,and anyone with a grievance should contact the tax man.photos of the finished render on my rear wall.it was supposed to be a light white finish,he used sea mist! It's bloody green!!!🤪🤪🤪 my poor neighbour is on video threatening me with 6ft of beading,I have not asked my neighbour for any money.bad luck coming is with the tax man!!A message on my phone for giving an honest review on my builder!!This kid can't help but dig himself deeper!! makes a mess then blames the client!! So happy with on point for our porch & loft conversion. Very professional service from start to finish with excellent communication throughout the build. All workmen were well mannered & tidied up after themselves everyday which was such a relief since I have a newborn & 2 year old. All work completed within timescale & on budget. AVOID!!! Do not use this ‘builder’ Started off with his public liability insurance being 5 months out of date. Questioned this and he said he ‘didn’t realise’ and then renewed it Used all of my partners things, even though we had things covered over and folded away. If things are under a cover they are there for a reason! Mixed plaster up in one of our buckets! Continuous promises were made for things and then weren’t carried out. I understand jobs sometimes don’t go to plan but 2 jobs were supposed to take 2 weeks. A MONTH later neither jobs are complete! Absolutely ZERO communication about whether he was going to turn up or not! Left our house an absolute mess. Clearly has absolutely no respect for our property at all other wise there wouldn’t be chunks out of door frames and walls, our clothes rail wouldn’t be smashed in pieces and you wouldn’t be throwing bricks out of a top floor window when there is a car directly under neath on the drive! Oh and it’s funny that he hasn’t turned up all week, but because of the stress he’s put us through over the last month we made the decision to tell him not to return last night. No response to the message. But turned up today to collect a few things he left at the house! Funny that you haven’t turned up all week to do the work but will turn up straight after we’ve told you not to come back! It’s a relief knowing that he’s not coming back to our house that we have worked hard to buy as young first time buyers!

I decided to build a garden room and received a number of quotations from various builders. I decided to go with Rod Hall of Lux Building Services for a number of reasons. 1. On meeting Rod me and my wife felt very comfortable and Rod discussed our plan in fine detail, in addition Rod introduced ideas of his own which had no cost implication but did in fact improve the final plan. 2. Rod was very fair and honest with his costings and this was confirmed at the completion of the project (no hidden costs). 3. Rods attention to detail and work ethic was outstanding and kept me and my wife informed throughout the project. 4. The materials used were of the highest quality sourced at the best price so we had no complaints. All in all a pleasure to have had Rod take on our project and we are more than pleased with the results......a very good job to a very high standard. I would without a doubt recommend Lux Building Services to family and friends. Pete.

We had a bathroom refit which was an excellent job completed on time and in budget. Any problems encountered were solved promptly without affecting cost of project. Sub contractor (tiling) were also quality tradesmen.
