We were happy before it rained and we thoroughly checked their work. They left mess, razor sharp edges on the glass, and glass overhanging neighbours land a little bit. We asked them to return to remedy this which they said they would do this coming Tuesday. Since then we have also noticed that they have cut our glass too short, cut the new hardwood at too steep an angle which was bodged in with wood filler, and now it's rained this new roof has massively leaked. In places where the glass is cut too short and even along the length of one of the new wooden beams; must be missing a bit of silicone. It is now Saturday and we have called them 2 days ago on Thursday, yesterday Friday we called and texted, and today again we both texted and one of us called them, to check if they are still coming on Tuesday or not. 3 days is not unreasonable to return a call or text just to confirm either way. More rain is due between now and then, concerned about lack of communication and quality of work.

Priory Building & Construction have recently completed our kitchen extension which was by no means straightforward as it involved complex structural issues necessitated by the existing building. They started promptly on the agreed date and worked steadily and consistently until completion despite unforeseeable problems arising. Particularly impressive were the way in which the project was actively managed and P&BC's willingness to make themselves available for discussion, on or off site, making positive proposals often involving cheaper means of achieving what we wanted. Their tradesmen were considerate and helpful and all contributed to a greatly enlarged and improved kitchen area with which we are delighted and we are pleased to recommend them. We look forward to seeing them again if our future projects come to fruition.

I employed Evans Contracts to build a pair of semi detached 3 bed 2 bath houses. Although a tight build they coped well and produced two very high quality finished houses. Bad weather slowed the project a little. Budget a little over but there was additional work done ie landscaping and tiling that was not in the original price. Alan is a good communicator that knows his trade inside and out. Highly recommended.

William carried out our bathroom refurbishment, which involved demolishing an old shower cubicle, installing new plumbing for a bath, replacement shower and sink and fitting them, tiling the shower walls, wiring a new light and heaters, plus work on skirting boards, wooden flooring, etc. He also moved the outside waste outflow pipe. William has a wide range of skills and experience which enabled him to carry out all this work to a high standard. He was very flexible in responding to occasional changes requested to the planned work. He was able to accommodate the need for the bathroom to be in use while the work was in progress. He was punctual, reliable, and tidy. We are very happy with our new bathroom, and would certainly use William’s services again.
