I recently had extensive work completed in my flat by Vas, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The service was excellent from start to finish. Not only was the quality of the work consistently high, but the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was Vas’s level of skill and versatility. Every aspect of the project was handled with care and professionalism — from plumbing and new water heating pipes, to new electrics, installing a new kitchen, laying a beautiful wooden floor, renovating the bathroom, and even replacing doors with a sliding door system. Each element was completed to a very high standard. On top of that, Vas was friendly, proactive, and easy to communicate with throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was clear he takes real pride in delivering great results. Zamir & his team are great guys, they're professional, reliable & hard working. Zamir takes pride in his work & has a good eye for detail as well as being very knowledgeable. He was easy to deal with & made helpful suggestions to enhance the project which was much appreciated. I was very pleased with the work they did & decided to use B&E for more major work - 2 bathrooms refitted & I'm pleased I did as they don't cut corners & are very thorough.

The service I received from Hysen Zhuku and his team was excellent. I cannot fault them in anything. The quote I received was clear and easy to understand, breaking everthing down so that you know exactly what you're paying for. The work was completed to a very high standard and thought and consideration went into how the job progressed. Hysen and his team were polite and easy to talk to and left the property clean and tidy at the end of each day. I received regular updates and photos of the work and Hysen was happy to show me the materials that he was using and answer any questions. I can honestly say Zhuku Construction are the best builders I have ever worked with. They are true professionals at what they do and take pride in their work. I will definately be using their services again and recommend that you do to. You won't regret it.

I met Charlie and his team from CM Builders Ltd when they were completing a loft extension and ground floor extension for one of my neighbours. Quotation and budget I was given an estimate subject to drawings as I was on a strict budget that I had to keep to for the build. Charlie was able to help me keep to the budget, both at the final agreed plan and during the build. The project was complex in that whilst it was a loft extension, all of the house was rebuilt. The only thing kept was the external walls and first floor rafters. Whilst the footprint of the first floor was not being changed I wanted to bring it up to current building standards with extra insulation. All of the plumbing and electrics were also replaced including a new boiler. The overall build has come in on budget, save for agreed enhancements that I did not think of at the planning stage and or building regulations such as double ceiling fire plaster boards. There were also items such as the original stairs that I wanted to keep, but Charlie was able to increase the height space in the kitchen making the worktop much more usable for tall people for a larger part of the kitchen. These were suggested to me as potential options as part of the build. Stage payments The stage payments have all been sensible throughout the build and linked to the ongoing work schedule. I have not therefore had any concerns in this regard. Quality of work This was a very complicated build as unlike the ground floor the first and new second floor are “L” shaped. The new 2nd floor included an en-suite and 2 bedrooms. Overall the house has been increased from 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom, to four doubles and 2 bathrooms. The quality of work is excellent and Charlie project manages his team to ensure that they all deliver to a high standard- if it is not done correctlt they do it again, with Charlie spotting any issues. Timeline of build This has generally gone to plan very well. As with any build you have to be realistic as things will happen outside of anyone’s control. When issues have arisen Charlie manages them to a conclusion. Also be realistic if you are having to manage to a tight budget. I had to plan for various stage receipts of cash before I could order the kitchen and bathroom items - make sure you understand how this impacts the build and availability of the work force, recognising that CM Builders have to book kitchen fitters and plumbers. CM Builders are also very helpful in that they have sorted out issues with the brick work of my freestanding garage (nothing to do with the build) and also a neighbour’s wall that could have been dangerous to the public, should it have failed. Conclusion The whole family are very pleased with the outcome and we now have the equivalent of a brand new house that has been built to a very high standard. This has definitely been worth doing both from a valuation perspective and quality of life perspective. I would not hesitate to instruct Charlie and his team again.

Very pleased with our choice. We initially got four quotes from different builders, most of them were terrible at communicating apart from Alfred. He was very easy to work with, responsive and very careful with our brand new house. His team was hard working, tidy and fast. They completely renovated our garden from removal of old decking and gravel to setting up new fences, levelling and turfing the ground. They also removed our old kitchen, partition wall and carpet, as well as did jobs like plastering, building a wall and set up lights and shelves. We’ll surely have him back soon to work on other jobs.

Very positive experience. Elvis and his colleague were punctual, polite and efficient, even taking a good look at the product they were installing before putting it up to prevent a known issue reoccurring. They also took the time to fix something else small while they were here. Would recommend.

I had a very positive experience working with Konstantinos. He is personable, reliable, professional and excellent at co-operating throughout the process. He repainted my entire flat/walls/ceilings to a high standard (and sanded down) he also helped address a few additional repairs along the way. The finish is clean, fresh, and has completely transformed the space. He was thorough and ensured everything was completed properly and on time. I particularly appreciated his attention to detail and his proactive approach in taking care of things I hadn’t even noticed. This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.
