Very positive experience. Elvis and his colleague were punctual, polite and efficient, even taking a good look at the product they were installing before putting it up to prevent a known issue reoccurring. They also took the time to fix something else small while they were here. Would recommend.

Very pleased with our choice. We initially got four quotes from different builders, most of them were terrible at communicating apart from Alfred. He was very easy to work with, responsive and very careful with our brand new house. His team was hard working, tidy and fast. They completely renovated our garden from removal of old decking and gravel to setting up new fences, levelling and turfing the ground. They also removed our old kitchen, partition wall and carpet, as well as did jobs like plastering, building a wall and set up lights and shelves. We’ll surely have him back soon to work on other jobs.

After months of planning every detail of my bathroom renovation, finding the right tiler was one of the most important decisions I made—and I couldn’t have chosen better. The workmanship throughout the project has been absolutely exceptional. The large-format porcelain tiles have been installed with incredible precision, and the porcelain mitre work is simply outstanding. Every edge is sharp, clean, and perfectly aligned, creating the seamless, luxury finish I was hoping for. The attention to detail in the mitres alone shows the level of skill and pride that has gone into this job. My bathroom includes a wet room area, floating wall-hung basin, wall-mounted brassware, and several challenging details that required careful planning and execution. Every element has been completed to an incredibly high standard. The service I received from Hysen Zhuku and his team was excellent. I cannot fault them in anything. The quote I received was clear and easy to understand, breaking everthing down so that you know exactly what you're paying for. The work was completed to a very high standard and thought and consideration went into how the job progressed. Hysen and his team were polite and easy to talk to and left the property clean and tidy at the end of each day. I received regular updates and photos of the work and Hysen was happy to show me the materials that he was using and answer any questions. I can honestly say Zhuku Construction are the best builders I have ever worked with. They are true professionals at what they do and take pride in their work. I will definately be using their services again and recommend that you do to. You won't regret it.

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

Marius has been doing a great job and put in an extra effort to ensure we were happy with the outcome. I can not recommend Marius highly enough, especially as he managed to fix an issue with the council that we had from someone else drawings. He was patient and very well prepared. Went an extra mile and gave us different ideas/options. He was flexible with timings and most importantly with price. Had by far the best quote and did an exceptional job.

This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

Marcus and his team fitted and tiled our downstairs w/c. Our house had recently been renovated and the builders had been unable to finish what they set out to do so Marcus also ended up finishing the en-suite bathroom, put right some loose fittings in another and completed some tiling in the utility. Marcus came to quote for the initial job promptly and MPS provided a reasonable fixed price quote for the job. He was incredibly flexible when we added more work to the initial job (twice!). All work was carried out to a high standard in exactly the amount of time predicted. We're really happy with the results and will definitely have MPS back to do more work in future. The team at MPS have been really responsive and helpful throughout the process. If you want transparent, reliable and high quality work, then I'd highly recommend Marcus and MPS!
