I found Harry through mybuilder.com. He was responsive, polite and listned to my requirements. I needed work done on a deadline just before Christmas. Harry did an excellent job of the work I asked for in my kitchen, the main part being cutting and fitting 2 worktops and a breakfast bar. Harry was very friendly and professional throughout and tidied up after himself before he left. If you are considering hiring Harry I would recommend his services.

I would fully recommend Millers Roofing for future jobs, please don't be put off by the lack of reviews, the company normally complete larger jobs rather than domestic work. Brett was the first to respond to my request for service and got back to me the following day to arrange a quote which was the most reasonable of the quotes I collected. He was the only one to point out an issue with insulation before work had even commenced, it made me feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing. Brett was very knowledgeable about single ply roofing and he and his two colleagues did a fantastic job on myself and my neighbour's shared roof. They arrived on time, were really polite and easy to work with and cleared away all rubbish afterwards. I'm really pleased with the result and its a big improvement on the old felt roofing I had previously.

We had a curved wall built for our driveway by PLC Developments. They came out the day after our enquiry, provided a quote the same day, and started work that week. The job was completed within a few days, and the standard of work was excellent. We already have a second job lined up with them. Like others, we were initially unsure about using a new business without reviews, but we’re really glad we did. These guys are very skilled at what they do, respectful of your property, and keep the work area incredibly clean throughout. The quality of their workmanship is fantastic, and the pricing was very reasonable. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in future.

Do not let this man build anything more than a garden wall. He has left my extension in a right mess the porch roof, soffits, guttering, floor and electrics have all been condemned, some as dangerous, as well as some drainage and plumbing works being unfinished. There are sooo many problems the building inspectors are after him also trading standards are now involved.

His work was to an excellent standard and we have used him on a number of occasions since for additional carpentry work (new door frames, boxing-in of pipes, cupboards and storage building). Peter was absolutely fantastic. He completed work to time, budget and to spec and was very patient with us whenever we were musing over changes or uncertain about particular directions. He explained everything clearly in person and over email, responded quickly to messages and was always available to answer any query. We couldn't recommend Peter Hoyland highly enough.
