Toshko was our main contractor for a complete apartment renovation. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The thing I most value about Toshko is his positive attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. A big project like this often needs little changes to be made along the way. He was accommodating of our changes, and always had a smile on his face. He is always willing to discuss options, and made himself available throughout the build, and afterwards, to help out. He even helped me with some additional odd jobs at no extra charge after I moved in. Thank you TJ, and I hope we get to work together again in the future!

As per the previous reviewer I don't usually hire tradesmen when there is only limited feedback, but given the glowing report I took the risk. And it proved to be a great decision. Astrit was great - clear communication, arrived when he said he would, sought our opinions on the key decisions and gave some great advice, before ultimately doing a great job for a reasonable price. A pleasure to deal with and will hire again for any future tiling work. Thanks Astrit.

George came to do up our hallway. He laid flooring and installed new spindles and a handrail on our stairs too. He did a wonderful job on the whole lot and we were very happy with him. We were awkward and changed our mind on the first laminate flooring that I had picked out online, he ripped it up and started again with the new flooring we picked and it was no hassle to him. George is a lovely fella, trustworthy and professional. Would highly recommend

Prices not the most accountable or transparent. 1 hours work £723.60 to clear simple drain. It was done well, but I was expecting around £250-400 tops for this so was a bit shocked with the final cost. When I questioned the cost resultant conversation became loud and affected running of my business to the point we had to give discounts in apology to current customers. Note; prices quoted are by half hour, include VAT and do not include additional including waste removal or surveys. 2 people arrive so double any quote given from the outset. Easy to feel overcharged, especially when surveys come back negative, cost £00s and are done in minutes- or quoted cost "includes all manual means of clearance" but then have to pay extra for clearance of waste.

We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

Conversions - General- 21 Jul 2023
We needed the dividing wall between our living / dining room removed and then replastered before our floor sanding took place, so timing (as well as quality) was very important to us. Rob promptly got in touch soon after I posted the ad and visited the property a few days later for an inspection and to talk us through the process. A week later the job has now been completed to an exceptional standard with plenty of time to spare. They were also well organised and did a great job minimising the mess that comes with removing a wall. TLC have completed the first phase of the project which has involved a complete renovation and upgrade of the kitchen, bathroom, and rear garden area. A new contemporary staircase has also been fitted. The work has been completed well ahead of schedule, and this is testament to the planning and coordination skills provided by TLC. All of the work has been completed to a very high standard, and a great deal of care has been taken to ensure the minimum disruption to the local residents. We are extremely grateful for the advice and support provided to us leading up to the restoration work and whilst the restoration was underway, and we are absolutely delighted with the final results. Our house has been transformed into a contemporary family home. Many thanks to Bradley, Paul, and the rest of the team at TLC.
