I strongly recommend Simon Smith. The first job I asked him to do was a list of small electrical jobs around the house. He was very helpful in diagnosing the various problems we had and correcting them - fixing all of them and offering lower cost options where he could rather than replacements. I then asked him to convert some downlighters to LED. He produced an estimate of cost and also the savings we could anticipate over time. Simon turns up when he says he will and is professional and very helpful. He made good and cleaned up. I have been very happy with the work.

Unfortunately the work wasn’t completed to the standard we expected or achieved within the timescale due to a lack of preparation/organisation (3 full days). We have since had to contact an electrician to complete part of the job. The painting of our skirting boards needs corrections and we will now need to invest further time and money to finish the work needed.

I posted up a job for installing a light fitting and switch in the attic. Sam responded to by job posting promptly and was able to come round very quickly to give me a quote. On the day of the work being carried out he arrived on time and did an excellent job, even going above and beyond by supplying me with a couple of L.E.D lights at no extra cost. He worked hard throughout and seemed a very sound, honest and genuine guy who has an eye for detail and you could tell maintains a high standard of work. The way that Sam worked in terms of pricing was very simple, straightforward and seemed competitive. The overall end result was spot on and I will be keeping hold of Sam's details for potential future jobs.

Highly recommended. Nick came to assess and gave us an estimate and then was happy for us to tack on another couple of jobs we needed doing. It was easy to arrange a convenient installation date, and the work was done quickly with minimal mess. I had been a bit anxious about cutting into tiles but Nick was really neat and covered everything up so nothing got dusty. Recommended.
