I spoke to Jim after the job had actually been done. He never got the chance to do the job (I didn't accept him or even see the message he had sent on this site). It was really urgent so I was on the phone to electricians and electrician agencies etc. until one said he could pass by there and then. As it turned out, that man was from a village close to here. Jim is in Tyneside and it would have been a trek for him. He was extremely polite and friendly when he phoned me this evening.
