We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

Josh was courteous and professional, sending me a detailed quotation (with details on when / how to pay) within two days of assessing the job. He explained the process, through to completion, once I'd hired him and we agreed a start date. He sent me a reminder text the day before the scheduled work. He and his colleague arrived right on time over the two days. And Josh returned at 7am (I had to leave for work at 7.45am) on the third day to complete a 10-minute task that he didn't have the part for on the previous day. I would certainly use Josh again.

Bart provided a reasonable quote (unlike others I received) and quickly fixed the date and time for the repair. He arrived on time and was fast in replacing the lightbulb holder (he brought the replacement). All worked fine and he then sent by email the invoice as requested. Kind and well mannered. To get straight to the point...OUTSTANDING Service! Immediately from the onset and til completion, Ishan and his company Nismo Engineering did everything in their ability to ensure that the process was simple, comfortable and straightforward. He was very quick to come over to view the job and was just as efficient when it came to organising and completing the job. What really impressed me the most about Ishan was that he never not once compromised the standard of his service even when faced with unexpected difficulties. He always found a way to ensure that the job was completed with full competence and even went out of his way to explain the technical circumstances involved so that I always felt aware and comfortable of the work being carried out. He always offered alternative options and even provided his personal discount when it came to helping me source/buy the parts. Ishan was very prompt and professional.
