A huge thank you to Gregory who took down and installed a new cooker hood. He was very attentive and went above and beyond by sorting out the extractor hose that needed cutting so it could fit perfectly. He even replaced the blown light bulbs so I could gain more lighting to cook. All mess and equipment was disposed and area left as originally found. Restoration & Refurbishment- 30 Dec 2016
We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

I would highly recommend this company. I was told someone would be with me in about an hour. Before the hour was up, Dhurell arrived and was most polite and friendly. Professional, executed the job well, though making good wasn’t of super high quality, but we did ask to concentrate on main works to make the best use of his time. Had requested a certificate for the works when the work was completed and was told there was over 200£ charge for it, which was very disappointing as other tradesmen’s have included this in the past.
