From our first conversations with Dougie, who was excellent in setting out a range of options/prices to us, to the installation of the patio itself where Kevin, Grant and Darren worked tirelessly and meticulously, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. The communication has been first class throughout and Kevin’s oversight of the work itself was not only impressive but reassuring. We’re blown away by the result and now have a large, brilliantly finished patio area at a great price. We’ve already said to Kevin we’ll be using KRG again for a couple of bits and pieces. Brett and his very experienced father took on an awkward job removing a chimney breast, a wall separating a dining room and kitchen, an ugly pair of French windows, a rear door and a window. This required three steel beams, two of which were bolted together at right angles and three lintels. Due to different ceiling heights, getting the overall height of the beams was demanding but it was done well. They fitted a new replacement window and set of bi fold doors. The job was made more difficult by some poor quality brickwork on the rear wall which slowed progress due to extra work to rectify the problem. The electricians and plasterer they used were very good. They also planned and advised on materials for a patio and garden path. I will use them later on in the year for some more work on repointing and wall ties.

Nathan and his brothers came to my property to do a few small jobs. One was to tidy up a old hard standing and lay some Gravel. Excellent job. He was polite and got the job completed very quickly. Well impressed. A couple of days later his other two brothers return to put up a couple of fence panels and a side gate. All was going well and he had almost finished when they said they had to go and get one small piece of wood to finish off, and tidy off the tops of the post. He said he would be back in a hour. After a number of calls (by me ) over the next few days he has still not returned. I know its only a little job to finish off, but hey, one lesson I have learned is not to pay anyone before the job is completed. Not very happy with them and wouldn't recommend them to anyone as they are not reliable, which is a shame.

did the job quick... finnished on time. but did not dig deep enough down so we could not have a door step as requested. was expensive as the price did not reflect the work done. but overall it was good

Quoted £1950 initially, agreed cost at £1800 for 13, 6ft fence panels and concrete post, next day after few hrs they said will cost 250 more as didn't realize it is more work than planned, So agreed to do 13 fence at £2000. After 3 days of work, installed 5 ft fence panels (not 6ft) which are not straight and at uneven in height. They have left cement and mud all over the grass and not really cleared. Fences look like being put by a 2 yr old , irregular, stitched up and wonky after spending £2000 on it. Recommend staying away, I got quotes ranging from 1450 to 2400, should have seen prior reviews beforehand. They did do the fences after 3 days though they usually stared working after 1-2 in afternoon and not earlier. Hope this honest review helps others In making a informed decision.
