After receiving a competitive quote from Dan he set to work on the arranged date and made light work of the digging and foundations. The wall and patio went up with much the same enthusiasm but unfortunately Dan was elsewhere when this was being done and the (skilled men!!) he left behind to do the job were frankly not up to it! Standards of work such as being able to put your fingers behind a level flat against the wall and uneven and badly spaced patio slabs, backfilling the wall with all of there rubbish and steps to steep to use, and with no drainage holes in the wall were but a few of the faults. When we highlighted our concerns with the quality of the job to Dan he promptly said, when would we like him to come and sort the problems! and that he would go away and ponder how he was going to correct the issues and would be in touch shortly. Well as I write this review it is nearly a year and half since we last saw him.... In short if you want someone to do your garden justice then think long and hard as we felt very let down by the whole experience. It's a shame you can't put pictures of the work up on this site!!

excellent job done I am so happy I had brick walls and a brick porch window and door done by this man Richard and it is top class looks so smart he worked well cleaned his mess up and was not slap happy with the brick work and turned up on time every day, I watched him a couple of times out the window and he does the work to perfection and on top of that his price was good I am having future work done by him as I have a good builder now and I intend to have the work done by him all the time I was wary after another builder recommended by a friend done a bad job and took my money and did not return but that's in the past now and RMS has put everything right . p.s people are driving past my house nearly bumping into each other looking at my garden and walls and porch as I live on a main road also everyone walking by has said it looks very nice I have even had a note put through my letter box from one of the neighbours saying it looks beautifull :-) I recommend this builder so much now I have had a job well done.

Absolute disgraceful. Accepted the quote to replace 2 broken fence posts cement in ground for €120.00 and was informed that they be round on Saturday to complete the work. I Got a call to say can't make it as the wire for Kangolwas not in good condition and his work mate was not feeling good. They said they would rather wait until cable was fixed. I agreed and with weather etc. The work started on Thursday evening. They quoted to replace to broken posts. For new with cement and what did I get 2 posts in the middle of the fence held on the arris by 6 screws in each post. Also no cement in the posts. I have asked for the work to be completed how they quoted and they said they would come tonight to fix the work. However not turned up and 2 missed calls and the phone goes straight to answer phone. It's a pity I support local businesses but when your treated like this and the guy whoes company it is comes into your kitchen to apologise and attempts to shake your hand and then dies not turn up. What can I say. Well at least they got a complaint coming to them via trading standards.

Dan and Stuart have been brilliant. They are really professional and friendly, and have great contact with everyone to get the job done, from architects, planning, and all of the trades we needed to build our extension. I happily left my keys with them, and trusted them to work with me, which they did fantastically. I couldn't recommend them highly enough, and would definitely use them again for any future work. A complete credit to the building trade.

Post completion of the job, there has been an issue with the concrete in that it has crumbled and broken up. Despite multiple emails and the promise this will be rectified it hasn’t been and my last few emails have been ignored. The warranty for the work is clearly worthless which is a concern to me should there be issues with the drainage in the future. If the company would like to get in touch and rectify the issue I’ll amend my feedback.

This was a £75,000 contract and PJS carried out the work to a very high standard and we were delighted. During the works, extras inevitably arose. We considered these to have been priced at the top end of what we think was reasonable. However, after the work was completed there were some minor snagging faults, and PJS point-blank refused to come and fix them. As a result we won't use PJS again.
