We cannot begin to tell you how amazing these guys are! From day one they made us feel that out job was important and not just a bathroom. Each day they arrived on time, always pointing out any problems and discussing possible solutions. They worked above, and beyond, what they needed too, and the different elements ( plasterer, tiler, builders, etc) worked seamlessly together. It's the first company that we have come across in a long time where they truly have cared about the customer, the customers wishes, and making sure they do the very best job. Our bathroom looks amazing. I know they have taken pictures of it for their own website perhaps. We chose mainly ceramic tiles ( Builder/tillers nightmare) but you would never know the problems they faced because my bathroom is one of the best I've seen for ages. Luke is a personable young man, who has a great attitude towards his customers, the plasterer was amazingly fast, so didn't get chance to talk to him much. The Tiler, Darren was also an amazing all round knowledgeable person but a super patient tiler. They worked so very, very hard. If you spend just a little or a lot these guys really "care" about the job that they do. It's unusual, and absolutely appreciated. They will definitely get the job of extension and kitchen. You couldn't get a nicer bunch of people, and I'd be happy for people to see their work.

Mark has completed an enormous job for me that took 3 working weeks. The work ranged from carpentry (built-in cupboards), painting, plastering, ceiling repairs, fence repairs , some electrical work, building a cat flap through the wall and plumbing. Mark is 100% reliable and worked fast and efficiently. The quality of the workmanship is first class. His charges are very competitive too. He is polite, honest, hard working and always happy for comments that may modify the work he is doing. He also gives very sound, reasoned advice. He is more than happy to visit after completion to see how things have gone and to set anything right. In Mark's case, there is nothing really to set right. He is very skilled. You cannot go wrong. Sion and his two boys worked tirelessly for close to all the hours of daylight here in Fife to bring my back garden to the 'blank slate' I needed for my redesign -- despite wretched weather! After his initial visit, during which time I mentioned some other things that were on my 'B and C lists', Sion suggested that I simply have him and his boys over for a whole day and they could tackle all of my projects at once. Three good strong chaps at my beck and call? What keen gardener girl wouldn't want that, especially one with a little less strength and energy than she used to have. My additions included cutting wood for my new greenhouse staging projects, replanting the bed I had them dig out, assorted landscaping tasks like topping trees and battling some ivy at the front of the house. No task was too much trouble, even making an extra trip to wherever garden rubble goes. At the end of the day Sion measured up the areas which need retaining walls and steps in order that he had the details for when I make up my mind what to do next. He suggested a few ideas but at no point was his pitch a hard sell. I can see him and his team returning soon, hopefully not in the rain, sleet and snow we had on December 22. Best. Christmas. Present. Ever!

An honest builder, came an inspected the roof and advised that not the whole roof needed replacing, only the section that was damaged needs to be replaced (other builders who inspected the roof advised the whole roof would have to be replaced) Quote received within 24 hours and once this was accepted gave me a start date. Email received the day before start date that his team will be on site the next morning. Received photos of the roof before and after, very pleased with the job. I will keep his contact details in my diary, will always approach him first for any building work required in the future.

Ground Force were contacted to lay two patios in our rear garden. We were told the work would take one week; it is still not useable months later. Patio slabs were loose and the patio grout was coming away from the tiles and breaking before the job was even 'finished'. Approximately half, if not more, of the patio tiles are now loose and there are large gaps between the patio tiles where the patio grout has failed. Some edging tiles have been placed without any attempt to secure them. Ground Force advertise a 5 year warranty for their work. Be warned that they do NOT stand by this. We tried to deal with the issues amicably and offered Ground Force the opportunity to come back and make good the work. Despite agreeing a date to attend our property and make good the work, they failed to turn up. We are now having to seek legal redress.
