  We are really pleased with our new driveway. Jason and Scott have been brilliant throughout the process. They have a great work ethic, really care about their work and clearly take pride in what they do. They carried out the work next to an access road for our neighbours. Subsequently all of our neighbours have commented how polite and courteous they were. They were competitively priced, carried out the work when they said they would and we’re really happy with the work they’ve done. I would happily recommend Watson Surfacing to friends and family.   T.W.L Groundworks has been running for 3 years now, we have done big new build sites upto 8 houses and a number of small development sits . We also do alot of extensions, patios, Driveways. My experience is 15 years in the groundworks trade.

  Great job, very pleased with the finished drive. Removed old tarmac drive and replaced with block pavers. I was kept informed of progress at each stage of the build. Would not hesitate to recommend Tom and his team in the future.

  Thanks to Lester and Chris, all work completed, very easy to work with and any questions/queries we had were always addressed. Left the place tidy each time and kept us informed of what was happening. Last few little bits tidied up and any problems have been told to get in touch with them. Out of four builders contacted on here only Lester turned up to quote and once his quote was approved he rang to organise start date, they were here every morning at 8am without fail. Really pleased with end result, thank you.

  I employed GWBS to undertake some renovation work. The building work was done to a reasonable standard. As extra work I decided on underfloor heating my wows began! I had issues with its installation they ignored manufacturers guidance. The floor was laid on an uneven floor but they had fallen out with the subcontractor and wanted me to chase the works to its completion. I had difficulty getting the work finished. So I refused a final invoice, of £450. Over a 3/4 month period I managed to find someone to finish the flooring.They did the best they could it's uneven in places and the heat isn't uniform. I still needed electrical sign off - I was chased for updates. I asked for them to stop harassing me, we agreed to accept the job as finish they would not contact me again. The subcontractor contacted me - the electrical checks were done. Having promised they wouldn't contact me, they did, asking for payment. I responded to the text, yes (mistake) but blocked their calls. A few months later they appeared at my house, I was at work. I contacted them immediately via email. They threatened me with debt collectors if I didn't pay that day. I offered a good will payment they refused I endured a day of emails, claims of letters said they sent, sighting recorded delivery, of out of context text messages. In fear of debt collectors, feeling under duress and stressed I paid them! I am now considering should I take legal action for distress and harassment.
