Mark has completed an enormous job for me that took 3 working weeks. The work ranged from carpentry (built-in cupboards), painting, plastering, ceiling repairs, fence repairs , some electrical work, building a cat flap through the wall and plumbing. Mark is 100% reliable and worked fast and efficiently. The quality of the workmanship is first class. His charges are very competitive too. He is polite, honest, hard working and always happy for comments that may modify the work he is doing. He also gives very sound, reasoned advice. He is more than happy to visit after completion to see how things have gone and to set anything right. In Mark's case, there is nothing really to set right. He is very skilled. You cannot go wrong. Wall all around property (corner plot) up steps to front door, internal walls in back garden for 2 long raised flower beds around fishpond as well, arranged fence on outside wall on back garden side to replace old one and also new garage gates. Also jet cleaned all my patios. Outstanding work many people have complemented me on the new wall that replaced my old concrete wall. All rubbish was taken away down daily. Tided and hosed at the end of each day. Was reliable on attending and always let me know if there was a delay.

Great job by Mark planting a new laurel hedge in my garden. He came out to look at the job (turned up on time), gave me some good advice and managed to get a great price for the laurel from his suppliers. When it came to planting, he let me know when he could do it, turned up when he said he would and did a great job planting the new hedge. Overall, very happy with Marks work.

Sion and his two boys worked tirelessly for close to all the hours of daylight here in Fife to bring my back garden to the 'blank slate' I needed for my redesign -- despite wretched weather! After his initial visit, during which time I mentioned some other things that were on my 'B and C lists', Sion suggested that I simply have him and his boys over for a whole day and they could tackle all of my projects at once. Three good strong chaps at my beck and call? What keen gardener girl wouldn't want that, especially one with a little less strength and energy than she used to have. My additions included cutting wood for my new greenhouse staging projects, replanting the bed I had them dig out, assorted landscaping tasks like topping trees and battling some ivy at the front of the house. No task was too much trouble, even making an extra trip to wherever garden rubble goes. At the end of the day Sion measured up the areas which need retaining walls and steps in order that he had the details for when I make up my mind what to do next. He suggested a few ideas but at no point was his pitch a hard sell. I can see him and his team returning soon, hopefully not in the rain, sleet and snow we had on December 22. Best. Christmas. Present. Ever!

Andrew called me soon after posting our job. He arranged for Robert to come and see the wall that same day. Robert explained clearly the work that needed to be done and gave us some different options for doing a retaining wall. He gave us a quote during the visit which was very useful as we were comparing multiple quotes. When building the wall Robert was very tidy and cleaned up after himself at the end of each day which was great. The wall looks like it’s been done well and we are happy to recommend AJ for any landscaping work.
