Carl was very professional and friendly from start to finish. We needed the job doing fairly quickly and Carl did just that...responded to the ad very quickly,he came to price up on a Sunday afternoon and it was completed on the following Wednesday. The price was very reasonable and we were happy to go ahead. He was helpful, knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble and he cleaned up afterwards. I am extremely happy about the service provided by Mike. He quoted me a very good price which explained how he arrived at his quote. He arrived on time and completed the work to a very high standard, working quickly and efficiently so that it was completed quicker than expected. The finished result is even better than it was originally due to the quality of work carried out by Mike. This was all done for a price that was less than half that for just a call out fee quoted by others. I would readily recommend him to others and would have no hesitation in using his services again should the need arise.

Really nice guy who converted our dusty old Victorian cellar into a smart looking room ready to become a utility (when we've painted it and had everything plumbed in) - the first time we've had anything like this done. It's a simple space but with some quirks and his ideas for converting it were excellent.The plasterers, electrician and plumber he brought in were all quick and good to deal with. Overall the job was done quickly and the finish is good. I would hire him again to do similar work. Reasons for neutral rather than positive review are that he sometimes needed to communicate more about what he was doing (e.g. he asked which way we wanted something done and then went ahead and did it the wrong way before we answered); one job wasn't done as we asked and although we agreed to this we subsequently felt fobbed off with the explanation and the deal; and one or two things were left unfinished - small jobs but the details make a difference to the overall finish and leave me with extra things to do. Like I said I would hire him again, but with more experience I would be wiser to these things.
