Furthermore, because the true root cause of damp issues stops for approx 6 months (Mar-Aug) in the UK we often see incorrect treatments that appear to work but only until the weather gets colder again later in the year. We dont do guesswork like this. Our surveys always pinpoint the true root cause which our solutions will permanently address so the problem never returns. Similarly our real-time radon measurement surveys identify concentration ranges that passive sensors cannot and our mitigation solutions are always permanently effective. We find the cause of damp, leaks and mould, then we fix it. Most damp gets treated by guesswork: paint over the mould, inject the wall, hope it holds. It comes back, because nobody diagnosed it properly in the first place. We start with a survey. Full moisture mapping room by room with calibrated meters, air quality testing to measure airborne mould spores, and a written report with photographic evidence setting out the real root cause and what needs doing, in priority order. Insurance ready if you need it for a claim. From there we do the work ourselves: leak detection, damp investigation, mould inspection, mould remediation and structural drying.
