I am very disappointed and saddened by the way this company treated me. This has cost me an extra £25.00: I bought several shades of paints for decorator to choose from, to complete the work with the view to returning those unused. Thistle Decorators changed appointments severally, then several no response calls made. later responded citing a bereavement promising to return later. He gave two appointments but failed to honour them. Two more calls, no answer, but forwarded to him, but no reply to date. I warned the work needs to be completed to allow return of the unused paints. I fell ill & later returned the paints but was past the return date. The paints cost £16.00. A new decorator fee £15.00 to complete work. On day 1, He tried to quote for a full wall; no honesty. He prepped the wall, but no painting, but took full fee. challenged him, he said will return to finish, but failed. I find him; dishonest, unjust & love for money. I want him pay for my costs above.

Mr Craig and his colleague were always punctual and polite. They always worked to an extremely high standard and worked carefully around myself and my animals. The job entailed raising the floor in the kitchen and bathroom, converting the bathroom into a wet room, bricking up the back door in the kitchen, removing and replacing the kitchen window, putting a new back door where the dining room window had been, building shallow steps with handrails to each side providing access to the garden. The job turned out to be much bigger than initially anticipated as the bathroom turned out to be hiding a multiplicity of bad workmanship which all had to be rectified before the job proper work could commence. All this was done and Mr Craig negotiated direct with the council so that I did not have to pay extra on top of the grant. The job was finished last week and I am completely delighted with the work. Finally they left the site completely clear of rubbish. A real pleasure to do business with, I would unhesitatingly use them again; very highly recommended.

Enhanced Home Improvements installed a new driveway at my home and also replaced all of the fascias, soffits and gutters to my home. I wanted the work completing quickly so that it would be done before Christmas and Tony and his team worked really hard to ensure this was done and that we were very happy - which we were! The work is of very good quality and was very good value for money in comparison to the other quotes I had for the same work. They were all a good bunch to have work with us and I was really pleased with the extra bits they did for me at no extra charge - that was very good of them. An example of this was the paint to the side of my garage which I didn't ask for originally but was no trouble at all when I asked for it to be done towards the end of the job. Superb team of men!

I had an old tiled roof replaced with a more modern metal roof and several walls where re pointed. Also a new drain was installed to help with rain water drainage and concreted in. The work was done to a high standard and in good time. Time keeping was good and can not fault them on turning up on time. I was also impressed with how tidy they kept the place after they had finished each day and when the job was done. I would highly recommended Patrick as from start to finish he was polite, very professional and did a very good job.

Carl was very interested in the work we wanted doing and suggested some ideas that we hadn't thought of. His quote was competitive and ,whilst not the cheapest,included all we asked for, and we felt confident that we would get a good job,so we were able to go ahead with the whole job in one go. He organised all paperwork,building regs, rsj calculations etc saving us paperwork hassle. His men arrived at 7.30 on the agreed day and worked very dilligently throughout the project.Nothing was too much trouble for him and his men,despite us changing things as building progressed.It is always stressfull to have builders altering your property,but everything was done in an orderly manner,the area was kept as tidy as possible,cleaning up as they went along.Carl kept a watchful eye on everything,coordinating all trades to ensure that they were there when required. We are very pleased with our conversion from kitchen/dining room to one massive,more usefull family orientated space.Also a previous junk storage,garage area, is now a large utility room and downstairs loo,very usefull.
