Hi, Just a few brief lines to give you some idea of our company history, strengths, capabilities,and of course to explain the reasons behind our appearing on your list of artisans with very little feedback ,which ,of course, is your only realistic method of judging just who you may be welcoming into your home to carry out any works you may be in need of completion. First and foremost we are an English family company of building specialists,who now also speak reasonably comprehensible French,consisting primarily of a father ,me, and two sons, both of whom are qualified tradesmen in their own right ,one a plasterer/plumber,qualified to NVQ level 3 ,which includes fibrous compounds and lime rendering,and the younger son ,who holds similarly rated qualifications in both bricklaying and painting and decorating, For my own part there are no academic qualifications whatsoever.Put simply, I was too busy working as a bathroom / kitchen ,design / installation engineer ,and putting two sons through college to be able to worry ,overly much ,about academia,but to counteract that there is a lifetime of experience,confidently tackling and successfully completing ,almost every type of building/maintenance problem imaginable,We are, all three ,extremely capable multi trade builders with a wealth of individual /combined experience,and have recently returned from the very successful , year long, restoration,completed on behalf of a very famous Musician/Singer,who insisted on plastering of English quality as opposed to French, of a large Chateau in the Loire Valley region <Saumur>of France which had previously suffered extensive fire and water associated damage throughout. Prior to this we were operating in England as Loadsaroom loft conversion co.and although this indicates a company specializing in loft conversions,of which we completed a great many on behalf of an equal amount of extremely satisfied clients, in actual fact the majority of our work was largely consistent of refurbishment/restoration,and in particular type 2 listed buildings ,where quality of finish,and eye pleasing attention to detail are an absolute essential element and fundamental requirement. We are now available for work of any kind within the building industry, preferably in England , but distance doesn't present too many insurmountable difficulties,and are prepared to work either individually or as a team, If you are taking the trouble to read this brief write up I can only imagine that you have found the initial quote,for whatever work you may require one,satisfyingly competitive,and look forward to hearing your full requirements in the near future . Based on most site surveys in the UK, we recommend using a hydrophobic solution in the brick or blockwork of a property, followed by replastering with our own breathable plaster and skim. This approach allows the walls to dry out internally. Some underground locations require a "tanking" mortar if a fully sealed environment is necessary. Our work includes plastering but only where we have removed damaged plaster. We recommend not using Gypsum, as it's not a breathable finish.
