This should read 5 stars! It won’t let me amend! Sam and Denis were great. They came and quoted for the work and returned to complete the job with ease. They were extremely clean and tidy as they went along keeping extra care of the recently landscaped garden which was a big worry for me. They gave us lots of hints and tips for our ongoing project which were things we had not thought of. Great young lads and would hire them again.

Friendly, thorough, knowledgable, included us and explained things to us as he took readings and evaluated the tasks to be done; clearly and simply explained the process for the damp course and the re-plastering; gave us helpful printed information about the process. Dave included everything that needed to be done in the quotation; there were no surprises. He took care of everything - removed and replaced radiators, skirting boards and beading, and the quote included an electrician coming and handling the power sockets and censors. I didn't have to find any other trades people -- it was an all-inclusive deal! We also hired Dave to do four other building jobs -- all done to our satisfaction (install loft hatch, ladder and boarding and install an interior door to garage). We are very pleased and easily recommend DL Builders.

He's a nice guy. Does work cleanly and explains well. He even did a throughout check to make sure he figures out the damp problem first. Even didn't mind repeating himself twice when we couldn't understand him due to his accent.

We initially hired Tony to do some plastering in kitchen which was done to a high standard and at a very fair price, so we decided to recommend him to my daughter and her partner who needed quite a few jobs done in their bungalow. Tony supplied and fitted the kitchen with cooker, new electrics, new subfloors,new door supplied and fitted, ripped out old fireplace and made good wall then installed new fluless gas fire, fitted flooring throughout, and installed underfloor heating in kitchen all which was completed to an extremely high standard. Tony kept us informed every step of the way and advised on the kitchen layout etc, nothing was too much trouble, he even made sure all the rubble and stuff we had thrown in back garden was cleared away into skip.. He was reliable, polite and approachable and his pricing was very fair. we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Tony to family and friends and he will be the first person we would call if we ever need anything else doing..

We used Neil initially for the tiling of the whole downstairs of our house, porch, hall, 2 living rooms, kitchen and conservatory. We were happy with previous reviews and comments and his quote was competitive so we went with him and were very happy with all works, and we asked him to also do some pipe works to radiators, plastering and laminate flooring which he did whilst here and completed all the works in just under 3 weeks taking all building waste with him at end of job. He and his mate Ronnie were very trustworthy and we left them with a key to let themselves in and lock up whist we were in work during the day. More than happy to recommend Neil and would use him again if we needed any further works.
