This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

DBM Contractors have been excellent! Having moved home, had structural work and general renovations done 3 times in the last 10 years, Orgest and his team have been by far the best we’ve experienced and we certainly will not look anywhere else in future. Once we agreed on the schedule of works and price, during which time the communication was polite, clear and consistent, there was a plan set out and the timeline to start work was precise and adhered to. He deployed the right number of people from day 1 - they work at speed but with clear quality and without shortcuts. As a result, we were further along than we expected within the first few days alone. Naturally, we added some work along the way - the communication around this was clear and we felt like we were involved in every step. They shared the smallest of details during the job so that the decision making was a combined effort. The level of communication, politeness, general friendliness and openness to help from the whole team has been very good. As we’re waiting for better weather, all but 1 job has been completed and we are very happy with the finished product – we wholeheartedly recommend DBM contractors for any work you are considering.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Teimo and his team on a full renovation of a probate house, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire house needed a complete overhaul, including two new bathrooms, a kitchen extension, new doors, skirting, walls, plumbing, electrics, as well as front garden paving, a brick wall, and back garden fencing. The quality of the work is outstanding. Teimo and his team take immense pride in everything they do, and it really shows in the final product. They are not only highly skilled but also incredibly polite and tidy, ensuring the worksite remained clean throughout. They worked hard, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM every day, and completed the project on time without any issues. What truly stands out about Teimo is his honesty and clear communication. Great job undertaken, all work completed to a high specification and quality. The workers always discussed any items that came up to make sure I got what I wanted. In specing up the job William was very helpful and proactive in assisting me finding the right materials (specific bricks in this case) and managed getting all materials to site in these tricky times. Work areas were always left clean and tools stored away (important with young children) Wouldnt hesitate to use again for any other building works.

Taras did an excellent job on our bathroom. He has a real eye for detail and as a novice to renovating he was patient and helped me enormously with he process. He also built some practical yet beautiful cabinets for our washer/dryer/cleaning supplies. Most importantly for us, he understood that we were on a time line with a baby due so he stayed late and worked weekends to ensure he didn't overrun. We had 2 bathrooms refurbished at the same time by Romulus and his team over a 4 week period. Both bathrooms were completed on time and on budget. We were looking for 2 functional bathrooms, but ended up with 2 very high spec bathrooms within our original budget, and couldn't be happier with the high level of service and professionalism by all his team. We will now move forward and have his team refurbish our kitchen.
