Extremely Disappinted with Planetium Construction- I hired Planetium for a 59k renovation job. Initially, the workmanship was acceptable only because I supervised closely and had them redo substandard work multiple times. However, before the job has been complete, I discovered already a roof leak in the master bedroom, direcly under the newly renovated bathroom. Despite my repeated requests, Planetium refused to take responsiblity or fix the issue. Just telling me need additional charges for the work. Worst still, Adrian the owner, demanded I pay the final balance of 1840 before they would address the GF heating which stopped working after they installed the new controller. When I reasonably refused to pay before they complete the job , Adrian swore at me over the phone the most offensive language. Furthermore, they promised to replace a new Miele microwave for the one they damaged during installation but now just walked away. Leaving me unresolved issues and additional repair cost!

External Works and Repairs on Large House for Freeholder We had hired Chiro to complete External Works and Repairs on the Exterior of a building that comprised 2 flats on behalf of the Freeholder. From the outset Octavian and his crew were very professional to deal with in terms of negotiating the price, start date and the works to be completed. The project involved repairing brickwork, roof tiles, ridge tiles, parapet walls, pointing, facia, plaster work, fixing windows/sills and finally sanding and painting etc and required a comprehensive repair of the exterior of the building. Much of the work was quite intricate and required careful repair of damaged areas and often coming up with creative solutions to get a good finish. The workmanship and attention to detail was very impressive and even involved them doing online research to find an alternative to old ridge tiles that were no longer available. Any issues or additional requests that arose were favourably received and dealt with immediately. The project started and was completed on the agreed dates and the site was left clean and looking well. Overall I would highly recommend Octavian and his crew to other clients. We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. In fact, now that we found the perfect man to work with, we are looking forward to finding another renovation project to work on! Monica

I hired Jamie for Garage conversion to extend my living room, The Job was done to it's perfection, Jamie was very accommodating - if I requested small changes in plan of work- Jamie and his team were punctual, polite and co-operative. His skills are broad and his team works very fast to meet deadlines. Once i got happy with Jamies's work then I asked him to do my Patio and other lighting work that was of the same excellent standard as initial job. His building work was safe , well planned and finishing was equally good. Jamie does give very sensible suggestions in building work but listens to client and accomplishes the work to the desire of client. I will certainly recommend Jamie and his team for wide variety of building work.

Great job undertaken, all work completed to a high specification and quality. The workers always discussed any items that came up to make sure I got what I wanted. In specing up the job William was very helpful and proactive in assisting me finding the right materials (specific bricks in this case) and managed getting all materials to site in these tricky times. Work areas were always left clean and tools stored away (important with young children) Wouldnt hesitate to use again for any other building works.

We engaged NB Building Services to build an extension (new garage and room at the rear) and extensively refurbish/remodel a bungalow. I met a number of builders/building contractors but I felt immediately comfortable with Nick right from the start. It was the first time we were ever starting such a project and we wanted to follow our instinct and go with someone we could be comfortable with over the duration of the project. Right from the start Nick came across as someone who is genuine and who looks to understand your requirements. Also, as my project had a few uncertainties that could affect the scope of the project I was looking for some flexibility and I felt that Nick and his team could provide that. Nick and his team (Stefan, Boris and Ilco) work very well together as a cohesive team. Nick provided a day-to-day customer contact while scheduling tasks on the building site and coordinating material deliveries. Every member of the team worked a full day and on occasions where it was important to finish something on the day, they would stay late to finish the job. What impressed me most when the work started is that the entire team is multiskilled – they do everything from bricklaying, timberwork, roofing, plaster/skimming etc. This helped me immensely when there were minor changes or modifications. That meant we didn’t have to wait for the bricklayer or plasterer to return to the site again. Nick also operated the heavy machinery like digger/breaker etc. Once the initial structure was complete the team again impressed me with their attention to detail when they moved inside to lay down plumbing, electrical wires, gas pipes etc. Nick and Stefan took the lead on the fine finishing tasks inside while Boris and Ilco provided important support and completed a lot of other tasks inside and out. It was during this critical phase when communication is most important that I appreciated Nick’s effort to keep us informed. As far as quality of work is concerned while we were happy with everything, I think the tiling work of both Nick and Stefan is outstanding. Our project lasted for about 8 months and while there were lots of discussions on areas of the project that I did not understand and I asked a lot of questions and also changed my mind on some things I don’t remember I we ever even had a minor argument. This I felt was an important win. Nick was also generous with his time and provided help to other trades who came on site e.g. window fitters, garage door installers; boiler installers; electricians etc. Nick and his team returned a few months later to lay down a patio with porcelain tiles for us and also a driveway with block paving. Once again Nick and his team discussed with us in detail what we wanted and provided suggestions based on their experience.
