This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

We had 2 bathrooms refurbished at the same time by Romulus and his team over a 4 week period. Both bathrooms were completed on time and on budget. We were looking for 2 functional bathrooms, but ended up with 2 very high spec bathrooms within our original budget, and couldn't be happier with the high level of service and professionalism by all his team. We will now move forward and have his team refurbish our kitchen.

We hired Zebra Property for a complete strip out and refurbishment of a GF flat. The JOB: The job included initial removal of existing bathroom, kitchen and flooring. The works itself were for a side return wrap around kitchen extension, basement refit, installation of new kitchen and bathroom, new windows (including velux) and bifold doors, tiling and complete decoration throughout. FEEDBACK: Zebra were a great company to work with on this job. Communication levels were clear. There were inevitable delays to the project but there was always a focus to get back on track and deliver as quickly as possible. The resulting finish is a high standard throughout the property, with any minor snags completed quickly. Thank you!

Lucian did a perfect job. We asked him to open a doorway through a brick wall and he did it in the tidiest way possible, granting us access to our new cloakroom toilet. He advised us on the correct positioning of the materials, and he was very patient when he explained to us the implications of our requests. His quote was at market price, but he was faster and did a better job than we could ask for. He was so good, in fact, that we decided to immediately hire him for more work.

The project was a complete renovation of 2 bedroom period flat - adjusting internal walls, new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, electrics, boiler, rads, new floor etc + full decoration. The Home Design & Build team were fantastic from start to finish - I'd give them 5 stars and would fully recommend. The quality of the work is outstanding - great craftsmanship and attention to detail + a very 'can-do' attitude to the bespoke elements and alterations that occurred throughout the project. The quote was clear and competitive, and the project stayed on budget aside from a few small additions to the scope which were added on at fair and transparent rates. It also stayed within the planned timescales (which is a first from my experience) and the team worked hard to complete on time. Both Lalli (who managed the project) and Mario (who led the work) were great to work with, highly capable and full of helpful and practical suggestions to the detail of the design.

Great job undertaken, all work completed to a high specification and quality. The workers always discussed any items that came up to make sure I got what I wanted. In specing up the job William was very helpful and proactive in assisting me finding the right materials (specific bricks in this case) and managed getting all materials to site in these tricky times. Work areas were always left clean and tools stored away (important with young children) Wouldnt hesitate to use again for any other building works.
