I signed the contract on 25th Nov for moving the walls of kitchen, bathroom, refitting bathroom and fixing kitchen and garden patio jobs. The contract was £10600. I paid £1800 deposit. They only ripped out kitchen bathroom’s walls at the same day for £2500. Then no works to be done in one week. A lot of arguments after I paid the deposit. He was always disagree me to buy the units. Didn’t allow me to have what I want to have. required add extra money all the time until I cannot afford. I told him my budget at the beginning. but he took me to a very expensive store for waiting a very expensive quote for 3 days. 2-3 times price over my budget. He was not agree me to buy from a normal stores/website. At the beginning he told me £6000 for the bathroom including units, £4500 for labour. Finally he required me to increase the budget to £12000+. I asked a lot of times he never told me the date, timescale until I cannot wait any more. The deadline is 18th Dec. However, he didn’t start yet. He didn’t want to refund me the deposit. He finished the downstairs heating fitting and bathroom rewiring in one day, then told me it cost £1800 deposit. It is an outsourcing company. All the staffs were from other companies and working as part time job. The director was born in 1993. The company is one year. Now I cannot move in before Christmas. Everything needs restart next year. And I have to pay extra one more month rent. I didn’t get deposit back, wasted one month,very bad mood for few weeks.

Complete bathroom refurbishment. All new plumbing and new suite and cupboards. New shower, boarding and flooring. Looks amazing and only took 5 days, I had expected it to take longer. Minor problem with shower plumbing but rectified very quickly. Neat and tidy and rubbish cleared quickly too. Nice and friendly staff
