We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and quality of workmanship from REA Construction. The project was delivered within budget and on time. We lived in the property during the work and we, our neighbours and the site were always treated with the utmost consideration. There were almost no hitches and, when they did occur, they were dealt with immediately and thoroughly. Our project team, led by Kristjan and Besi, were universally hardworking, organised and produced work to an excellent standard. Communication is great, the people are wonderful. The house needed lots of work doing and the new flooring was just one of the many jobs undertaken by Victor and carried out to a very high standard for us. Works consisted of hip to gable loft conversion under permitted development and a refurbishment of the first floor of a semi-detached house into a four bedroom/bathroom layout, including new windows, balconies, wiring and plumbing as well as sound proofing the walls. With 100m2 of works this was my first introduction to a major building project and I was worried by the horror stories I have heard about builders. From the outset Monika set my mind at rest, listening to what I wanted, making helpful suggestions, offering tips for instance on how to save on the scaffolding and always asking me when choices needed to be made. She took the trouble to ensure that I knew what was happening, with daily photos of progress without the need for me to climb scaffolding. I was working to a tight timescale and budget, which Monika understood, and even having accommodated a number of changes including some additions, the project came in on time and on budget. All of the workers on the site were very professional and the quality of the work and the attention to detail was exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending Monika and her team - I went into this project apprehensive and not sure what to expect; thanks to Monika, I came out the other side delighted by and looking forward to working with her and her team again to renovate my ground floor.

I was very lucky to find Cornel for my building work. His team were extremely hard working, efficient and respectful and the work was done very quickly and to a high standard. Most estimates for the build time were between 8 and 10 weeks - my work was fully complete in 6 weeks. Building control passed all stages of the work without any issues. He is equally proficient at the plumbing, electrics, flooring, tiling and decorating as the heavy building work, even restoring my garden so that it looked better than it did before the build. I am in a conservation area with close neighbours on all sides and Cornel minimised the disruption as much as possible and made efforts to keep everyone happy. His attitude to overcome problems and make sure that in the end you are a happy client drives his approach to the work. I had 10 builders quote for the job and Cornels quote was very competitive and the final costs were exactly as we had agreed. I had spoken to a number of his previous clients before going ahead and they were all very impressed with his work and had good experiences. It can be a difficult decision to choose a builder if you have no previous experience and given the potential for things to go wrong - but we made the right choice. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cornel and his team.

Mick did a good job for us. He worked long hours to get the job done, and was able to turn his hand to a whole range of things, including plastering and decorating. The basic carpentry and construction was well and neatly done, and we’re very happy with the end result. The job ended up taking longer than either of us expected, but that was due to complications with some of the tasks, plus some extras, and was therefore not Mick’s fault. We were able to amicably agree an additional payment on top of the original quote to cover Mick’s time. Recommended.
