Bricklaying- 29 May 2020
Sonny built a new chimney surround, lay a hearth and bricked up a window & door in our newly converted lounge. We were very pleased with the work that Sonny completed for us. The quality of all the work was to a high standard, and he always left the workplace tidy at the end of a day's work. In addition, he was reliable, helpful and friendly. Finally he was reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Conversions - General- 23 Feb 2021
From the start Ryan and Danny where very approachable and professional, they were very patient with me as I’d never had any work to this scale done before I had a lot of questions. They took the time to answer all queries and were very professional about it considering I was probably stopping them from doing what they were doing. At the end of every day they left the site clean and also asked if there is anything else I needed. They went over and above what I asked for them to do etching the budget agreed, the job was finished on time the transformation from old tired garage with Tim roof to brand new modern lovable space is amazing. Would recommend 100%, I’ve even got them pricing up the next job I want them to do. I would just like to thank the lads for there hard work in some horrendous weather conditions love the new room. Cheers lads

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 19 Nov 2021
I agreed with Vision Windows & Doors Ltd to replace some windows in my place, on understanding they will provide certificate on completion as required by the BCP Counci. I selected this contractor via My Builder as this contractor ensured me that they are FENSA approved company - My Builder state “30 years experience. FENSA MTC installers 10 years warranties” The required work was completed in May 2021 however I cannot obtain FENSA certificate or 10-years warranties from this contractor- he does not reply to my messages. I contacted FENSA where I have been advised they submitted application back in March 2021, however they are not registered as application is not completed. Now, I need to get local Authority for them to inspect this job, make the required job meets local regulations, make additional payment to the Local Authority to obtain a required approval. In addition I do not have 10-years warranties and a need to get other contractor to rectify few installation deficiencies.

Seems a really decent chap, turned up to quote exactly when he said he would. Quoted what I considered to be a fair price, agreed when the job would be done (super quick) unfortunately jon then text to say he couldn't do the job. Shame because we liked him. BUT he did contact to cancel, he could of simply ignored us. I wouldn't have any issue with hiring Jon again for another job and only provided neutral feedback due to the job not actually being done. Anyways, I believe he's busy, hence why couldn't fit us in. Being busy is generally testiment in it self. Do not be put off by this.

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 17 Oct 2020
Initially the process was good - George was quick to quote and measure the window, and fitting was booked a week later. However, the first window that arrived to be fitted was too big. It then took another month to get the right window fitted, including 2 aborted bookings, 1 was cancelled with no notice as well. He did give a discount for the wait (only after I had asked several times and there had been further delays than just the initial one), but it was disappointing that it didn't seem like there was much rush for us when it hadn't been our fault that the first window had been the wrong size.

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 5 Sep 2020
Very disappointed with the service received from this company. Came at beginning of June and quoted for repair to lock for bedroom window, fitting of sliding patio doors to French doors and a new front door. Understandably things took longer due to covid, but it is now 5th September and we still have not had the work completed. Their communication is very poor. We have had several days cancelled due to door not being delivered firstly and then the fitter they use to being sick. Obviously these things happen and we understand but I had to initiate contact in both of these cases the day before , to be told sorry it was not going to happen. Date arranged for 22/08 and again I had to contact them the day before to make sure it was going ahead. The fitters came and they had to go away again to get trim and the lock, no problem. He then said he was only able to work until 1pm and that the office should have let us know but did not. The fitters were great and stayed an extra hour but were not able to finish the work, and he contacted his boss to arrange for a follow up visit to be informed he did not have his diary and that they would make contact first thing Monday to do this. I emailed mid- morning to arrange a date and said we can do any day to fit in. Wednesday still no contact so emailed and also left mobile numbers to discuss if any issues they might . We are left with French doors not completed and rest of work not started and still not not had any communication.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 4 Jun 2019
Initially came across very helpful and good. Quick in Providing quotation, too slow to start work, blamed on suppliers not delivering the stuff, then let down by his workmen. This caused a severe knockon effect on other works going on at the property. once works has begun arguments begins. This isnt in the price so on and so on etc Prices are top dollar and quality of work is bottom dollar. If you do hire his services ensure to get written down every word agreed with him, do NOT rely on his quote. Be prepared to be present at all times for overseeing the works. To give an example he quoted to raise the floor(insulate beneath) but did not take off the skirting, just raised floor half way up the skirting. Door height required adjustment due to floor level increase, instead of taking off a small amount to adjust, door has been cut at angle literally about six inches across then glued back on. Not sure whether charged items has been used to insulate the floor either. Closed off wrong door then hung same damaged door back on. Hung the new door which he or his workmen damaged, but he completely denies it even though since his finishing works no one else was in the property until I met up with him after the weekend. Quoted price says inc Ironmongery but still I have to supply complete ironmongery for the door. Did not do NO architrave or skirting etc everything what he took off just threw in the bin. Have to hire another workmen topay and get the work completed.

Very poor experience. Communication became rude and confrontational when i was simply trying to clarify the contract opportunity. Professional businesses should be able to communicate respectfully, even when there is a disagreement or misunderstanding. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Handyman- 13 Mar 2026
I hired this guy to assemble a plastic shed. He told me the job would take around 2 hours, but it ended up taking over 10 hours. I paid him for the work, but later that night the side of the shed fell apart. When I checked the structure, many of the screws had not been installed, which explains why it failed. Unfortunately the job was not completed properly and I now have to fix it myself.
