The job advert clearly stated that the work was in Doncaster. Before hiring Ivan, I confirmed the location with him via WhatsApp, sent photos of the summer house and also spoke to him on the phone. He confirmed he was happy to travel to Doncaster and carry out the job. Based on those assurances, I hired him. After he contacted the seller and agreed a date for the work he then asked me to pay more because Doncaster was "too far". The location had been made clear from the start and was confirmed by him before I hired him. This was very disappointing and wasted my time. I would not recommend hiring someone who changes the agreed price after accepting the job.
